    This sounds like a wonderful source of information. I’ve always wanted to host gatherings, but the thought of having to “do so much” and “make so much” has always stopped me. I’m handicapped, so what would be easy for someone else takes a little more effort on my part (make that a lot).

    First-time reader (following up on the “favorite” URL already viewed by co-worker) who is enjoying the hints and advice.

    My widowed neighbor is exhausted after planning a “celebration of life”/family reunion in the mountains for 15 family members, plus a few friends, this past weekend. I would enjoy reading and sharing the book with them, so when they meet again next year it might be less stressful and more relaxing. Many family came from out of state.

    This book looks great for someone that trys to make everything so perfect that they are exhausted. I have yet to learn how to entertain, and invite others over without making a fuss to the point of exhaustion. I guess I figure that I am inviting them over so I need to go beyond what is the usual.

    I want to get to the point of having people over, make a nutrious and tasty meal that does not strain our budget, and of course our precious time together.

    This book is definitely what I need. Because my husband is a pastor, we want to practice hospitality as often as possible. He would love to do it more, but I know I’m the one dragging my feet.
