I would like to hear more how you specifically find deals with Butcher Box. I have used this for a number of months and have earned free beef and bacon but it still doesn’t seem to give us enough servings for the cost. I know it is better quality meat than the store. But just cost wise I can’t justify it very often. If there are tips and tricks I could try I would love to hear.
We did the custom box but was only lasting us 10 or 11 meals.
I don’t personally use Butcher Box (because I find so many great deals on markdowns at Kroger!), but I know we have many followers who love it — especially those who typically buy much higher quality meat. I’d love for them to share any tips they have because I often hear from those who love it!
I love Butcher Box, simply watch out for the unit cost as I am certain all Money Saving Mom people do! I order from Cooks Venture in Arkansas. Almost all locally sourced and shipped to the door. While t is a bit more expensive than grocery store, it seems it goes farther is is much better in every way. Never tried Butcher Box, I want to keep USA products as much as possible

I’m on a budget, but actually love butcher box. I get all the steaks, bacon, scallops, brats, and free ground beef, and I love the convenience and prices.

Just make sure you use the right link; I first got an error message that said I was already a customer but customer support sorted it out. In general, this subscription service is more than our grocery budget can support on a regular basis. Since we prioritize eating wild caught seafood as much as we can afford to, we chose to fill our custom box with 12 lbs of wild caught sockeye salmon and got the free 7 lbs offered with the keto bundle promo, bringing the cost to about $8/lb. For wild caught sockeye salmon, which you’ll usually find for anywhere between $15-30/lb unless you’re buying in bulk, that’s an AMAZING deal!!!

Wow, I’m actually kind of surprised that MSM is pushing this deal. This is really expensive for meat, over $10 per lb. That’s insane. Crystal regularly shares stories where she gets her meat on clearance at Kroger, that’s more in line with what most viewers are here for. I know some will love this deal and that is totally ok. But for others, this is ridiculously high priced.
