I tried this recipe with venison and it was delicious!!!!

Honestly, I don’t have any amazing recipes that are specific to venison. I use it interchangeably in recipes calling for beef. If it’s something like meatloaf, spaghetti or hamburgers, I mix ground venison with ground beef/turkey. If it’s heavily seasoned meat (like chili or tacos), I use straight ground venison. For pot roasts, I always make sure to add fat as venison is a very lean meat, and can be dry if not cooked the right way. Also, in general, the older a deer is, the more “gamey” it tastes.

Are your aldi grocery list prices for this next week Jan. 12-18? I saw the date you posted was the 11th. So I wasn’t sure if it was last weeks or this week. Love your blog and emails. Thanks.

Our ads run Wednesday-Tuesday. My posts are usually on Saturday morning, and they involve the current week’s sales/prices. So the prices are still good through the following Tuesday. Hopefully that makes sense!
