Brigette, are you the sister that lives in SC? If so, is there a way you can give information about the Albert’s organic co-op? Those prices are amazing! I am in NC and I would love to find out how to get one of these going in my area.
Thanks!
All I do is piggyback off a lady in our church who organizes everything, so I don’t know very many details. I do know they are located out of Charlotte, NC, and that is the closest drop-off they do to me (I’m in Rock Hill, SC). If you google “Albert’s Organics,” their website will pop up, and it would probably give you all the details you want. 🙂 I tried to do it myself just now, but it is “temporarily down for maintenance.” (I was just on it yesterday, so I’m sure it will be back and running shortly). Basically, they offer EVERYTHING organic (not just produce). You order through a distributor (which my friend is) and I think they charge you an extra fee if your order doesn’t total a certain amount (so the more people that order, the better :)). They run weekly (or bi-weekly) sales on produce, that are often SUPER prices. I’ve always been happy with the quality of the produce. Hope this helps a little!
Thanks! I live about 15 minutes from Charlotte and will be checking out Albert’s. We love Aldi too.
Thank you so much for all the information! I am an hour west of Charlotte, so I’ll have to look into it. I went on their site yesterday and noticed it down, as well.
Can the Easy Apple bake oatmeal be prepped the night before ?
I haven’t ever done it that way, but I *think* it would work. 🙂
