Love drug store shopping each week? Don’t miss these GREAT deals Brigette grabbed this week at CVS and Walgreens!
CVS Shopping Trip
All of my coupons are from the CVS app. I highly recommend it if you don’t have it already! You get on to your account and clip the coupons you want, and they automatically come off in the store. There are CVS store coupons and manufacturer coupons to clip on the app – and you can stack them on the same product.

Walgreens Shopping Trip
All of my coupons are from the Walgreens app. I highly recommend downloading it if you haven’t already. You can clip both Manufacturer’s and Store coupons and stack them together on the same item.
I split my purchase into two separate transactions. I’ve been having problems with the computer “freezing” at the register when I use digital coupons loaded on my card and then pay with register rewards from previous weeks. I decided to separate the register reward transaction from the digital coupon transaction and didn’t have any problems this week. I’ll keep experimenting!

Janis says
My Walgreens will not allow me to use rewards for any purchase that gives rewards.
Jackie says
Janis I would try this again. I just used my rewards from last week on this weeks purchase and I still earned Walgreens cash. I bought two L’Oréal hair colors and three Olay body washes and used $10 from last week. I paid 22.37 after coupons and received 10.31 back in WG cash and got a $5 Ibotta rebate. I’m still getting back into it. But, that’s way less than what I would have paid for that at Walmart.
Brigette says
That must be specific to your Walgreens – what a bummer! Do you have another Walgreens close by?
I use register rewards all the time and still earn register rewards and Walgreens cash. I just recently learned that you can pay with Walgreens cash and earn Walgreens cash back as long as they are deals like “Buy 2 products, Earn $5 Walgreens Cash” and NOT “Spend $15, Earn $5 Walgreens Cash.”
