I love seeing your shopping trips! I just thought I’d mention, that egg cartons are great to put a little dirt or starter in & plant seeds. If using cardboard egg cartons, I just wet it really well, cut the sections apart, tear the cardboard around the plant roots to make it easier for the roots to grow, & plant. 🙂
I was just looking for a basic pasta recipe that my kids would eat. I think the Parmesan pasta just might work!
I am really trying to keep my totals low this month to offset garden supplies and flea and tick prevention supplies for my pets. I’ve meal planned based on what I already have. I bought: tortilla chips, 2lbs of cheese, 3 lbs apples, 2 lbs carrots, 3 lbs bananas, 2 lbs strawberries, 2 lbs pears, 3 lbs oranges, 15 lbs potatoes, 3 snack cakes, 2 boxes of cereal, a gallon of milk, kitty litter, and a big bag of ripe bananas that were reduced to $0.68. I have meat in the freezer and some additional food in the pantry that I will use. I spent just over $30 of my $80 budget, but I think I will only need to pick up more milk this week so I’m off to a good start.
Thanks for sharing 🙂 Have a blessed Easter.
