Okay I am getting back in the goal setting saddle. This week I am going to focus on reality based goal planning. I have most of my goals in my “Handy Dandy Homeschool Notebook” (flashback to Blues Clues), but it helps to see them out there in the light of day.

Reality Based Goal Planning — love it!

Really love this site!

Thanks so much for your kind encouragement!

I had a pretty good week last week. I was able to get all my goals done except for planning out the garden with the kids and planning out our next 9 weeks of our homeschool. We are hoping to work on finishing those two items that up this week and a few more things too.
I hope you have a great time speaking at the conference.
Crystal says
Congratulations on having such a productive week!

I’m excited about the new recipe page. I’m uninspired by mine lately so I’d love to see some new ideas.

I’m looking forward to having it D-O-N-E! 🙂

I can’t wait to read your Freezing Cooking Day update. I’m hoping to have one soon myself! This past week, my whole family caught a stomach so I didn’t accomplish much other than comforting my family, being sick, and disinfecting germs!
Crystal says
I’m so sorry you all were sick this past week. That’s no fun at all. 🙁

Just a homeschooling question. I don’t homeschool, but I’ve thought about it. Do you think an extroverted mom is more suitable to homeschooling than an introverted one? I’m very introverted and need my quiet time to recharge. I often wonder how moms like me handle homeschooling.
Crystal says
I’m more on the introverted side (people call me an “extroverted introvert” if that makes sense), but getting up early has provided consistent quiet time for me and then we also had afternoon quiet time for years when my kids were younger. My husband is also extremely involved and supportive — which is very helpful!

My goals this week aren’t too exciting; after a week at the beach, I had a hard time focusing on the coming week. I’m hoping to find clarity and direction in the next day or two.

I love that you read aloud to your kids. I want to do something like this with my children someday.
Crystal says
I love it probably just as much as they do! 🙂
