During the month of April, I’m encouraging my readers to participate in a 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge (read more here, if you missed my announcement about this challenge last week). Every week day morning at 9 a.m., I’ll post the daily project and every evening around 6 p.m. EST, I’ll post an update and link-up.
I’m kind of embarrassed to post these pictures seeing as I just cleaned out my bathroom drawers. But oh well, here the pictures are anyway…
Hiding under all that?
Was this sticky medicine spill from the weekend.
Much better — and I even got some of the other items back to where they belonged, too.

I have found 2 great organizer items. Buy the over the door, clear pocket shoe organizers. Put them in your bathroom, kids room anywhere. They are great for make-up, Q-tips, socks, toys, whatever. Next buy the clear plastic, clear lids too, small boxes and sort your junk. One can be office supplies, one cords, one crayons, one dog leashes. Whatever fits your family. Label them and if you take something out it must go back in. I fine people for not putting things away. The money goes to charity, but it is a good way to teach a lesson. The little curtain rods can be your best friend, lots of things can hang over them in a cabinet.

I’m a day late on linking up, but have enjoyed this challenge so much. Looking forward to the clutter busting challenge next month (tomorrow!)

Spills like that happen all the time in our fridge. Then, you have to move everything to the side or completely out of the fridge just to wipe it up. I feel your pain. 🙂
You did a great job on the drawers! Very well organized!

It,s out of topic….but I couldn’t,t help but notice you use same contact lenses as me!
Where do you get a good deal? I have been getting it at Costco, but I would like to find it for the better price! And I am assuming you must know,lol…..
Crystal says
I usually order online, unless my eye doctor is running some special sale.
I’d encourage you to price compare with the online sites and see what it is compared to what you’re paying from Costco.
I also look for a coupon code on RetailMeNot.com and order through eBates to get cashback, too.

I see someone wears Dailies. Those things are so very expensive. Do you have a secret to share on cutting the cost? My 13 year old son wears them and my insurance only pays $75. If we purchase a year supply at a time we get a $100 refund. BUT….. the cost for a year is $400 so after all is said and done we are still paying $225/yr
Crystal says
Are you ordering them online? That’s what I usually do — and I try to always use a coupon from RetailMeNot.com, too. Occasionally, they’ll have rebates, as well.
Ordering online might not be as great of a deal as what you are already getting, but it’s worth price-comparing, if you haven’t already.

Today I vacuumed all the floors. After the weekend they really needed it. I will have to clean one item with tomorrow’s task. I’m glad not to be the only one who’s drawers can get messy quickly.

I wiped out the inside of my refrigerator. I’ve been meaning to do it for a week!

Make sure you clean up those sticky syrupy sweet medicine spills quickly. Ants love it! I once had a medicine cabinet with a trail of ants coming and going from outside before I figured out what they were after. I bet they didn’t feel any pain or have any nasal congestion!

I love that rug-I have the same one in my kitchen. And thank you for the housecleaning challenges-my home is neater and is so much easier to maintain. I am going to do the challenge on a continual basis.

I am very embarrassed by the filth in our microwave, but now it is squeaky clean!

Isn’t it amazing how quickly things get dirty again? I tackled the cobwebs. I don’t have a clue why I didn’t do this earlier.
