I got up late this morning and that made me a few hours behind all day… but I’m finally getting this post up!
Yes, the junk drawer was in dire need of some help!
Much better!
And then I wiped down all the cupboard doors.
The baseboards and underneath the cupboards also really need some cleaning.
I had to rinse my rag out so many times.
And then I decided to clean the crevices of the sliding glass door. Yikes!

Oh man. We really need to do the crevices of our sliding glass door too. Honestly, I just don’t want to touch it because it’s so gross. Maybe I could use the vacuum?

This morning I did clean the toilet in the master bath and was thinking about trying to quick clean the counters/mirror in there when I broke a small hand held mirror (the glue let loose and the mirror part came off the plastic) and shattered all over the tile floor. So I vaccuumed the masterbath instead of cleaning the countertop in there. Somehow I still managed to get out the door to work on time. When I get home from work I’ll be scooping up the rugs that were in there and taking them to the laundry mat as I’m paranoid there could be glass shards in the rugs.
Well somehow I got totally distracted and off track and didn’t end up doing the kitchen cleaning I intended, however I was very productive in other areas. I’ll be doing the kitchen today!

Water and a Norwex cloth. Yes, very unexciting. 🙂
That junk drawer looks like mine, messy. I will tackle that tonight for sure. What a perfect reminder!
The sliding glass door crevices are always the worst at our house too. I worked on a cleaning in the kitchen and the living room today. Both rooms needed to be picked up a bit.
I did more of a deep clean than a surface clean because I’m going out of town tomorrow. It looks so much better! I cleaned out some junk drawers too! Those drawers catch all kinds of interesting objects!

I cleaned my oven today. It needed it so badly! Without the challenge, I probably wouldn’t have done it. Thanks for the encouragement. 🙂
