30-Day House Cleaning Challenge: Project #23

During the month of April, I’m encouraging my readers to participate in a 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge (read more here, if you missed my announcement about this challenge last week). Every week day morning at 9 a.m., I’ll post the daily project and every evening around 6 p.m. EST, I’ll post an update and link-up.

April 23, 2013 Project

Today’s project is to sweep and vacuum all the floors in your house.

If that seems daunting and overwhelming, just focus on sweeping/vacuuming the floors in the most-trafficked areas of your home.

Come back here at 6 p.m. EST and I’ll have a linky so you can link up your pictures of your accomplishments today!

I’m happy this is the task for today. My roomba broke yesterday, so now the daily downstairs sweep/vacuum is back on me. 🙁 At least until we find a good deal on a new one.

  • Katie says:

I hadn’t looked ahead to the task for today but I was hoping it was going to be this! Freshly vacuumed carpets and floors look and feel so good!

  • Amanda says:

I actually vacuumed, swept and mopped the downstairs yesterday. So today I will do the upstairs which hasn’t been done in a while.

  • Jen says:

I had been doing pretty well following this challenge until this weekend. Ended up in the hospital with severe pre-eclampsia and had my son six weeks early. Wish I was at home to vacuum. 🙁

  • Stacy says:

I’m going to join you today! I will be getting assistants (my kids) to help. So glad they can vacuum! Need a little work on sweeping, though.

  • Maia says:

Did this before I knew it was today’s project!

  • Tracy S. says:

I’m all swept and vacuumed. But my floors are terribly dirty (2 toddlers, an 8 year old boy, a couple of pets, and a coal miner will do that) so I’m giving them a good mopping during nap time after hubby heads to work. And I’ve got a good start on that already. 🙂

  • Luba says:

I swept and mopped the hallway and bathroom floors downstairs. They both needed it!
