Happy early Mother’s Day Crystal! After becoming a mother (of one rambunctious boy), I appreciate mommies a lot more! Congrats on your success as a blogger and author, and more than that…mother of three precious kiddos!
Each year, I have my little guy paint up his hand with some paint and we do a hand print on a small square canvas every year on Mother’s Dad… I have this grouped as artwork on his wall – I love how it shows us how much our little guy has grown.
familyfun.com has lilies made out of your child’s hand prints. trace your child’s hand onto white card stock, curl the “fingers” with a pencil, curve the pinkie towards the thumb and seal with tape. Put a small piece of yellow pipe cleaner inside and attach to a green straw. see the website for details. they are super cute and a great keep sake of how tiny children’s hands are!
Both of these ideas are really neat. I am going to try to make the flowers with my kids.
LOVE the washer pendant!!! Thanks for posting. 🙂
What darling ideas! Thanks for sharing!
