  • Great job on your goals last week! Practicing a speech. Ugh! Not one of those things that are fun to do!

I hope you have a great movie night with your husband. That sounds like a great idea to me!

    • I actually really have begun enjoying prepping for talks! And since most of my talks are ones I give over and over again, it makes it much simpler — I just have to tweak them for the audience and I like to update them a little each time with fresh and relevant illustrations/ideas.

I never expected that I’d one day say I was enjoying public speaking… but I truly am! It definitely proves that when you keep challenging yourself to step outside your comfort zone, eventually your comfort zone moves!

We are doing a date night this week with other couples from church to see “God’s Not Dead.” We can’t wait. Has been a long time since we have gone to the movies.

  • I attended your “Throw in the Towel” workshop at Hearts at Home – it was terrific! (I’m the mom who said shed been following you since your Biblical Womanhood blog…) 🙂

  • Shelly says:

I don’t think speaking in front of a crowd will ever be something I like to do. I hope your talks go well for you.

  • Stephanie says:

Lots of remodeling going on this week but still able to make and complete some goals and get more organized …thanks
