Happy Easter!
Just posted my goals – even though I had meant to post them much earlier in the week! Thanks for inspiring me to get back to writing down my goals!
I didn’t do terrific on my goals for last week, but I’m okay with that. Sometimes life is more important than checking every single thing off my list! Looking forward to really getting some things done this week, though! Thanks for all the inspiration and encouragement!
Just posted my goals!
Every time I see your goal of writing a love note to your husband, I’m reminded that I should start to do something like that for my hubby… It seems like something I’d have to put some deep lovey-mushy thoughts into though, and with my 3 boys and homeschooling, time to stop and think about what to write is a rare commodity. Is what you write just some simple and appreciative, or is it more profound?
I usually keep it simple and just write thanking him for something I’m especially appreciating that week, etc. Or sometimes I get all sappy and flirty. Just depends. 🙂
Usually once I start writing, it’s not hard to come up with things to say! So if it’s something you want to do, I’d recommend just finding a time to sit down and write for five minutes and I’m guessing the words will come!
I keep hearing about the Couch to 5K program…how do you like that? I’ve added it to one of my possible things to do in the future lists, but I’m a little skeptical.
Thanks for allowing me to link up!
I’ve loved it so far!
By the way, I looked and looked for you on Sunday at the Bootcamp because I really wanted to get to talk with you more–and I never found you. I must have been looked in all the wrong places. 🙁
Actually, we did meet, but in brevity : ) I was in your and Kenisha’s blogging break-out session and I told you how much your message that morning meant to me in the lunch line! I don’t think I ever properly introduced myself – so I apologize for that : ) It was a little hectic!
I was going to see about talking to you more, but everytime I turned around someone else had your attention! You’re a very popular person! Thanks so much for all the great words – I know that had to be difficult to get up in front of so many strangers, but you really did a great job!
Yes, I totally remember meeting you! I just felt badly that we only spoke in passing and I wanted to get to sit down & chat with you more–and then I couldn’t find you on Sunday! Hopefully next time!
Oh, I totally misread that…lol…it’s been a busy day of school and 4H! Sunday went by so quickly! I’m sorry I missed getting to talk with you more! I really did enjoy the weekend and I’ve already put the word out about it to several of my friends for next year. Again, you were great and thank you for posting about it on your blog….I didn’t know such a amazing and much needed event was going on in my backyard!
i am finishing up week 2 of Couch 2 5K and i must say it is really rewarding b/c you can see progress each week. Give it a try! ( and don’t feel bad if you need to repeat weeks)
Crystal, thank you for continuing to do the link up from week to week. It REALLY helps me a lot.
I have been enjoying posting those things that I do not want to do or have been putting off. This makes for great motivation for me. Thanks for letting us link up, Crystal!
I am looking forward to keeping up to your Spring Program series. I have been feeling very out of routine lately since switching gears from renovating to blogging. I am hoping the series will help me make new routines to suit my new stage of life.
I noticed you mentioned beginning preschool with your son, as a goal for the year. I have a son who will turn 3 in may, and am looking to do the same. Do you use a formal curriculum for preschool? If not, would you consider creating a post in the future on how you plan? Thanks for this site! You have encouraged me in many ways!
Here’s some of what we’ll be using:

Thanks for asking this. I’ve been wondering the same thing. Also, thank you, Crystal, for linking back to that post. I need to go back and read it again.
Thank you for the link up and the motivation for productivity! You rock my socks off!
Crystal
can you recommend any good audio books for my 16 hour drive to Alabama…I am thinking of getting the Happy Mothers is it GOOD
I’m enjoying it, though I don’t necessarily agree with everything. You might check your library to see what audiobooks they have available. Ours has a lot of audiobooks to choose from!
I’ve made my monthly list!
I’m listening to Day Two of Dave Ramsey’s podcast 🙂 An important item on my list.
How do you pick your read alouds for your children?
Many are recommended in our homeschool curriculum (My Father’s World). The rest are ones I find recommended different places–including from people here!
Thanks for posting and keeping me motivated!
I posted my goals for April today! Trying to save $$ at the grocery store and sell some old books on Ebay are topping my list this month 🙂
