Came across this post, and I think it’s a great idea to post weekly goals on your blog! I’ve decided to do the same…hopefully it’ll help me stick to them! 😉

Ooh, I look forward to seeing the recipes you try for the Make It From Scratch Challenge. I think five new recipes in a week would overtire my poor little brain — major respect to you for that goal!
And I will confess: most of the new recipes I try are ones I get from your website. I haven’t been let down yet! Thank you!

You have inspired me to start reading chapter books to my kids. I am reading Paddington to my daughter and I am going to start Wizard of Oz to my son. I loved your post on how to get your kids to love reading! This week I am going to try some of your advice and read while they are coloring or eating lunch. I think they will enjoy it so much more! Thanks!

My son is getting better at read aloud time. It’s just so hard for him to sit still. But we just started our first big book without too many pictures, The Burgress Animal Book for Children. By using a few different voices for the different animals he is really enjoying it so far. Read aloud time was so much easier with my daughter but she loves reading now, so it is so worth it.

I’ve been so inspired by your read-aloud posts that we have taken up more reading at our house! At first I was discouraged that my 4 year old wouldn’t listen to the stories, even though I had him play with blocks or cars. After seeing your note about starting with picture books, I tried that and it has worked 🙂 Thanks so much and have a great week!

Yay! That makes me so very happy. 🙂
