I achieved 4 out of 5 of my goals for last week, so I’m pretty happy about that. 🙂
This week, I tried out freezer cooking for the first time—10 hours and I still have a couple more hours to put it. It sounded so easy, but it really exhausting. lol Still, I’m really happy with the results.

Ahhhh!! I love the books you’re reading with your kids right now! One of my goals for the week is to finish All of a Kind Family with my girls, and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for our (newly revived) family after-dinner read-alouds.

Wow. Love the to do list. I am a big fan of having your major goals for a week planned out and knowing what you want to accomplish.

Do you have a method or schedule you use to memorize verses? I’ve been using 3×5 notecards and memorizing through Philippians. I’ve been at it probably 6 months or better, and am just working on the last 4 verses in chapter 2 this week! I’m excited to be halfway done with the book, but wish I could move along a little faster. 🙁 Ah well, I’m thankful I have that much down!

Yeah, I somehow blew by that little tidbit about a recipe page. I just finished a batch f the 3 ingredient pumpkin chocolate muffins! My daughters have always love entemenns little bites to take on their way to daycare (where they are them seved breakfast). I decided to make the muffins into mini muffins, since I knew they loved the big ones. When they saw them last week they were giddy! They ate 3 each morning.
The most rewarding part was when I had to bring my 5 yo shopping with me today and we went past the little bites, she got upset. When I asked her why, she said “I don’t want the bag muffins. I want mommys chocolate muffins”. She was thrilled when I told her I was making more! I was thrilled to be able to do it for her…thanks to your daily encouragement!

Have fun at the Homeschool convention! I’m so close to that area and almost chose that convention, but opted for the Teach The Diligently one instead. If I had an over abundance of time and money I would go to both, haha! I just love those conventions and find them refreshing and inspiring 🙂 We are blessed in this area to have two homeschool conventions to choose from! (Although I wish you were going to be at the TTD Spartanburg one 😉 )

I did a slightly less than one hour freezer cooking session and made these two recipes. Super easy and perhaps something you and your family would enjoy?

I was able to get all but one of my goals accomplished from last week. I also was able to fit in my exercise each day this past week too. That is a first for me. So I am slowly making progress.

I do *so* much better with my weekly goals when I blog them–and I really, really enjoy reading about your progress every week. It’s so motivating!
I don’t see the link-up…is that something wonky on my end or did you decide not to put the link-up but forget to delete the mention of it in the posts?

The link up is there, but funny that you mention it because it hasn’t shown up for me once before too. I guess you could try re-setting the page.
And I totally agree- Blogging about it makes me stick with my goals better! How great that we can spur each other on! Very motivating 🙂

I’ve been keeping my goals simple since my college courses are taking up a lot of time. Still I like the accountability of posting my goals here. It gives me the motivation I need to get done what I need to. 🙂
