I hope you all have a great time bowling for your daughter’s birthday. We used to go bowling often and it was always fun.

I just want to say how great it is that everyone is posting their weekly goals here. It’s a great community and a wonderful way to keep you on track. Putting yourself out on the web is a big commitment and I am just happy that we are all here to help each other and also help keep each other accountable.
So blessed!

One of my goals this week is to read your new book. I started it on Monday and I must admit I look forward to the moments I can steal away and read a few more pages!

Aw, that makes me so happy! Thanks for sharing!

Happy Birthday to Kathrynne! My first thoughts when I reviewed my goals from last week were that I bombed. But in reality, I’m noticing some things get worked on one week, and others the following week. I usually give up at about this point when I feel I haven’t made significant improvement, but I’m trying to keep in mind that any step forward is a good step. Have a great week everyone! 🙂

Be prepared with tissues when you read Sara’s Key… If you like it then watch the movie. The movie is very good. Good Luck with your goals.

Thank you so much for sharing your goals. I am back on track this month because of the break in my schedule because of the bad weather. It has been such a blessing. Praying I will do better this year now that I am in a better schedule.

Do you like Sarah’s Key? I thought it was fantastic but it still haunts me (which in my opinion, is the sign of a great book). I don’t want to say too much since I don’t know how far into it you are. Water for Elephants is another great book.

Sarah’s Key still haunts me, too!

Bowling is such a fun thing to do for a birthday! I hope you all have a great time!

I see you finished the fingerless gloves. Did they turn out well?
Crystal Paine says
I’ll post about them on Saturday! Had so much fun making them!

Hope you have a great time bowling for Kathrynne’s birthday. Sounds like a lot of fun!!

Way to rock your goals even with all you have going on!
This is off-topic, but I’ve been reading a lot about your passion to help others add margin in their lives. Question–how would you do that in the other season of life when Jesse was in law school and you NEEDED to work a lot? I’m in that place, and while it won’t last for every (another 2 years or so), I’m wondering how to add margin when I have to work the amount I do and I’m also homeschooling my kids. Thanks!
Crystal Paine says
One thing we did during the busy seasons was for Jesse to watch our girls on Saturdays while I went out for a few hours. Not sure if something like that is possible, but it was definitely a huge help to me when we were in a season where we both were working really long hours.
I have some other thoughts, but I’m thinking I may answer this as a full post versus just in the comment section. Hopefully, I’ll have that post up in the next 3-4 weeks. Thanks for asking such a great question — and one that I’m sure others can relate to, as well!
Melissa says
Thanks. I’ll look forward to that post!
My husband does give me plenty of time to work on the weekend, but my workload exceeds what I can get done during that time. During the week, I feel like I’m always fighting myself regarding working or playing with the kids or homeschooling. Ideally I’d like my workload to be able to be completed during the time I can work on the weekends and nights, but it’s not there yet. I can’t give up much of my work now because we still need my income for the next two years.
