    completed!

  • Kelly March 21, 2013 at 09:27 am

Survey linky wasn’t working, but went through The Freebie Blogger and it worked fine. NOT a short survey though. LONG : )

    • Crystal March 21, 2013 at 09:29 am

Sorry about that! I just fixed it. Glad you got it to work. And yes, I should probably take off the “short” bit as the survey took me a good 3 minutes to fill out.

      • Kelly March 21, 2013 at 09:31 am

Thanks Crystal. Maybe my idea of short is a little more like the attention span of my 1 and 3 year-olds! If it takes me more than 5 minutes, I’m thinking long : )

Hi, I did the survey yesterday morning and still have not received a voucher :(

        • Crystal March 22, 2013 at 07:21 am

They said 24 hours, so I’m hoping that our vouchers come through within the next few hours — hopefully!

  • Elizabeth H. March 21, 2013 at 09:36 am

The survey will come up for me, but their site won’t load at all from your link?

    • Crystal March 21, 2013 at 09:41 am

I think it’s being slammed right now.

  • Rachel March 21, 2013 at 09:58 am

Do you happen to know how long it takes to receive the voucher? Thanks for the link!

    • Crystal March 21, 2013 at 10:07 am

It should arrive via email within 24 hours.

      • Rachel March 21, 2013 at 10:08 am

        Awesome! Thank you again!

  • Margery H. March 21, 2013 at 10:30 am

Does anyone know what their shipping rates are? I looked around the site and couldn’t find it. Most books look like they are $13 – $25, but there were some prints for around $5 in clearance.

    • Lana March 21, 2013 at 10:49 am

      $4.99

  • Dianna March 21, 2013 at 11:12 am

Thank you for this. We love Barefoot Books!

  • Koree March 21, 2013 at 12:16 pm

    Are these all kids’ books?

  • Stephanie March 21, 2013 at 05:11 pm

Thank you! We love their books!

  • Meagan March 21, 2013 at 07:47 pm

Thanks! I recently bought their World Atlas App and it is really well done. Even I have fun exploring on it. I love to see a company creating high quality educational products out there.

  • Brandi March 21, 2013 at 09:19 pm

Although taking the survey is difficult if you are unfamiliar with the company. . .

    • Brandi March 21, 2013 at 09:23 pm

Not sure if they allow you to stack the $15 with anything, but retailmenot.com has a 20% off coupon code that may help make it less $ so that some of that can be sent on shipping. Haven’t tried it, as I haven’t received the voucher emailed yet, but the promo code is TWENTY13 if you want to give it a try!

      • Penny March 22, 2013 at 09:56 am

        One discount per order

  • Penny March 22, 2013 at 08:53 am

Their whole site appears to be down.

    • Juli March 22, 2013 at 08:56 am

It is back up now. For me at least. Hoping that they aren’t so slammed that they decide they can’t send vouchers to everyone who has done the survey. And I would say that they survey was pretty short!

  • Amy March 22, 2013 at 10:22 am

I took the survey yesterday and got the voucher this morning. The site is moving really slow because they are experiencing more traffic than they’ve ever had. If you can access the catalog and know what you want, I’d call them to place your order at 1-866-215-1756 instead of trying to place it online. They are super nice. The voucher is also good until the end of April so you just might want to wait a bit until their webmaster fixes things or until the traffic slows down.

  • kat March 22, 2013 at 06:22 pm

I received my voucher this morning. The cheapest shipping option is $4.99. I used my voucher on a cute animal origami activity book. After sales tax and shipping I still got it for free. My boyfriend also used his voucher on a similar origami book. I am going to use these as reading incentives for my students. :)

  • Kim March 22, 2013 at 07:54 pm

I never did receive my voucher….very disappointed. :(

    • Dena Davis March 22, 2013 at 09:39 pm

      Kim,
Definitely give customer service a call! They’ll be happy to help you! I’ve been an Ambassador with Barefoot for five years and it is an awesome company! Good luck! You are in for a treat if you’ve never seen Barefoot Books! :)

    • Crystal March 22, 2013 at 09:50 pm

I’d email them. Mine & others arrived this morning.

  • Dena Davis March 22, 2013 at 09:43 pm

You all are in for a treat if you’ve never seen Barefoot Books! I’ve been an Ambassador for five years now, and this is a fabulous publisher! If you’re at all curious about their homeselling program, I’m happy to answer questions or you can just check out the videos and info on the website. We’re an easy-going bunch and not like your typical direct selling program. Cheers and best of luck winning that $500 library!!

  • Elizabeth March 22, 2013 at 11:12 pm

This worked great and our book is on its way! I might add that the website was definitely crashing a lot right after I got the email so a lot of people must have done this but I waited until late and it worked just fine. Thanks!

    • Kim March 25, 2013 at 08:26 am

Just for the record, I attempted to email Barefoot Books through the email link on their website, and each time I’ve tried across three days, there was an “error.” I’m glad this worked for so many others, but it really has been nothing but trouble on my end. I guess it’s just bad luck. Cheers

Just ordered Robin Hood for my daughter. $10.xx book came to $1.xx after tax/shipping.

    Thanks!

    • Mary March 25, 2013 at 02:18 pm

I bought my daughter a board book for $6.99 and noticed they had books for Africa for $3. These books ship directly to a school in Africa and after shipping and the $6.99 book I ordered it was just under $15!

  • Nichole March 25, 2013 at 03:21 pm

Just received my voucher in my email. Took quite a bit longer to get but I attribute that to the increased traffic the site had. Excited to use it! Not sure if I should use it for my own daughter or plan ahead to a future event/birthday etc but this will be super useful either way. Plus, the quality of books and other products is amazing at Barefoot.

  • cheri March 25, 2013 at 04:05 pm

I still haven’t received mine :( so bummed. I tried using their “contact us” form, and it just keeps giving me an error. Oh well

    • Desiree March 27, 2013 at 09:16 am

I feel you. I STILL haven’t recieved mine and I keep getting the same error. Totally bummed.

  • Sree March 26, 2013 at 08:44 pm

I did the survey few days back and received the voucher today. I just ordered 3 books for 11$. Thank you so much!!

Also wondering if there a limit of one survey for each household. Can my husband do the survey as well?

  • Mike April 05, 2013 at 08:50 am

Has anyone had their order ship yet? I ordered on 3/25 and it still just says Processing. Just sent them an email to see what’s up…

  • Theresa April 05, 2013 at 09:37 am

I just received an email from Barefoot Books announcing free ground shipping site-wide through April 7th–no code needed! I just ordered a game using my voucher and paid nothing as the voucher plus free shipping made my total $0.

  • Kristen April 07, 2013 at 09:05 pm

Does anyone have any book recommendations from the books at Barefoot books?
