I read How to Meal Plan: A Step-by-Step Guide for Busy Moms on the plane on my way to Austin this weekend. It was a quick read and it was full of lots of helpful ideas and information.
If you’re new to menu-planning, feel overwhelmed by menu-planning, or just need some inspiration to begin menu-planning again, I think you’ll find this ebook to be a great starting point. The author (also named Crystal!) makes menu-planning seem doable, simple, and possible. The ebook is full of step-by-step advice plus there are quite a few free printables, many helpful links to other sites and resources, and 14 easy recipes.
I especially loved the beginning advice on creating criteria for what recipes you like to make so that you can quickly and easily know if a recipe is a good fit for you, just by glancing at it. I’ve never heard of someone recommending doing this, but I realized that I do have recipe criteria — even if it’s not written down officially somewhere.
