It’s Here! It’s Done! The Store Deals Page is Live!

by Crystal on March 19, 2010

Okay, so maybe I was a little over-excited in the title. But this is a pretty big deal. No, actually it’s a really big deal–at least to me!

After months of contemplation, weeks of discussion, and hours upon hours of work, the Store Deals Page on MoneySavingMom is now up and running! You can access it by clicking on “Store Deals” in the navigational bar in the header. Then just find your logo and click on it and it will pull up the page with the deals at your local store. You can also see a complete list of the stores we cover here.

Subscribe to Individual Store Deal Lists

Not only can you access the deals for your specific stores by visiting the Store Deals Page, but I’m most excited about the fact that you can sign up to receive deal lists for individual stores via RSS reader or email.

I’m so thankful to Joy at FiveJs and my sister, Gretchen, for all their labor in spear-heading this effort. They’ve been amazing! In addition, this page would not be possible without the dozens and dozens of bloggers who are working with us. Thank you to each and every one of you!

Want To Help Us Out?

We still have some kinks to work out, more stores to add, and we’re getting a crash course in all the stores and their various names and where they are located. If you see a link that isn’t working or find information that isn’t accurate, would you do me a favor and send me an email?

In addition, we still don’t have every store in every region covered. If you are a blogger who posts a thorough weekly deal list and coupon match-ups for a store not on our list yet and you’d like to work with us on this project, please email me and we’ll definitely consider it.

Poop! The 2 stores I shop at aren’t on your list. Pick N Save and Sentry. :(

    • Julie Mercer March 19, 2010 at 03:50 pm

      @Julie Mercer,

  • Susan J March 19, 2010 at 04:03 pm

I”m excited about this, but bummed that our St. Louis area stores aren’t on here – Shop-n-Save, Dierbergs and Schnucks. Anyone out there covering them?? =)

    • Crystal March 19, 2010 at 04:06 pm

@Susan J, We’re still adding stores and bloggers, so if you don’t see yours listed yet, if it’s at least a state-wide store, we’ll likely be adding it.

You can also check out The Frugal Map for bloggers in your area:

    • Erin bihr March 19, 2010 at 04:32 pm

Susan, you can go to stlmommy.com for those stores. The lady who runs that blog does a great job.

        @Erin bihr,

Thanks for the link – I’m adding her’s to my favorites!

  • Tami March 19, 2010 at 04:35 pm

Mrs. Team S, I was going to ask the same thing. I hope you guys can find someone who blogs about the HEB deals and SunHarvest.

This looks great! Thanks for the hard work.

  • jennifer March 19, 2010 at 05:21 pm

    Awesome!

I’m in Iowa so Fareway (hometown company-started here!) and Hy-Vee are my two locals.

    Thanks!

  • Nichole March 19, 2010 at 05:30 pm

Thanks for all of your hard work Crystal and Gretchen!

  • Cortney March 19, 2010 at 05:34 pm

This is SO awesome. Thank you so much for putting this together for your readers!! I know I am appreciative and I also know I’m definitely not the only one! I already do share your page with everyone I talk frugality with…but I will be sure to share this specific feature in the future! :)

  • leigh March 19, 2010 at 05:37 pm

Wow! Thanks for this! Do you have Wegman’s? We just moved to New York….I think they are mostly in NY and PA? Thanks!

  • sc March 19, 2010 at 05:41 pm

What a great idea! Any chance you could add on Lowes Foods? (NC and SC)

  • Sarah Z March 19, 2010 at 05:42 pm

Wonderful! I wonder if you could do IGA?

  • Courtney (Womenlivingwell.org) March 19, 2010 at 06:00 pm

  • Diane L. March 19, 2010 at 06:04 pm

Thank you so much for putting this together. I’ve been frustrated because I see all these great deals for stores in other states, but none for the stores in my area. Through your links I have now found two blogs that cover deals in my city. I didn’t even know these blogs existed!

  • brooke March 19, 2010 at 06:08 pm

Love it! Such a service you provide all of us couponers :)

  • damien March 19, 2010 at 06:14 pm

Crystal, quite frankly, how can you say it’s not a big deal?! It’s very impressive and I’m sure it will be successful and have more people use your site as a resource to help them save significant dollars. Well done to you and your team .

  • Tiffany March 19, 2010 at 06:17 pm

This is an awesome resource. Thank you SO SO MUCH!

  • Carrie March 19, 2010 at 06:44 pm

Thank you. I’ve already signed up for my stores!!!

  • Lyn March 19, 2010 at 06:47 pm

Love this idea…if you have the chance I would love to see A & P on the list!

  • melanie March 19, 2010 at 07:16 pm

    Crystal,
I am honored to be doing your Giant Food Stores list. What a great job you’ve done! Be sure to take some time to celebrate this success!

    Melanie@DearlyDomestic

  • Courtney March 19, 2010 at 07:42 pm

I am happy to see Hyvee – thanks! :)

  • Pam March 19, 2010 at 07:53 pm

WOW, it’s definitely a big deal! Awesome!!

  • Anna Espinoza March 19, 2010 at 07:56 pm

Thank you for all your hard work…I’ve always thought that it would be so awesome to get local deals at the stores in my area. I don’t see the stores in my area, but maybe they’ll be on someday. (Winco, Foods Co, SaveMart, Smart and Final)

  • Stacy Sawyer March 19, 2010 at 08:23 pm

Wow, this is great Crystal!! I’d love to see Hannaford in there!

  • Rachel March 19, 2010 at 08:33 pm

This is great! I see several local supermarkets, but not the one I go to 95% of the time…..Price Chopper (NY,VT,MA,CT, ?). I am aware of a blogger who posts their deals……..no idea if she’d be interested in partnering with you on this or if something is already in progress…..

  • Carrie March 19, 2010 at 08:35 pm

What an incredibly awesome job, Crystal, Joy & Gretchen!!! I’m still keeping my fingers crossed to find deals sometime for Hannaford (a New England chain)–although seriously, I don’t know if they EVER have any deals–at least not like a lot of other chains! However, you can bet I’ll be using the Walmart & Rite Aid deals at least, and possibly a few of the others like Shaws & Market Basket, although those are farther away from us. You guys are amazing–thanks so much for all the hard work!!!!! :)

  • Angela March 19, 2010 at 08:50 pm

Thanks a ton!!! I’d love to see if you could get macombmoneysavers.com blogger on here. she does match ups for the detroit area/meijer. and other stores too. she does a great job in my opinion!!! I’m brand loyal to you and her :) Great work here!

  • Min March 19, 2010 at 09:15 pm

Hi, Crystal! This is fantastic, but we’re on the East Coast and regularly shop at Wegman’s, Shopper’s Food Warehouse, and Bloom. Will these stores be added at any time?

    • Crystal March 19, 2010 at 10:25 pm

@Min, We’ve searched high and low for a blogger who covers Wegmans and have come up empty. If anyone knows where these bloggers are hiding, let me know. :)

More East Coast stores should be coming soon–provided they are a statewide store and not a mom and pop store. We don’t really think it’s feasible to try and cover the mom and pop stores in each town. ;)

      • Min March 20, 2010 at 06:44 am

@Crystal, you probably already are aware of it, but Bloom is the “high-end” store that’s part of the Food Lion subsidiary. Bottom Dollar is the “low-end,” then Food Lion, then Bloom. Some of the products at all three stores are the same/similar (i.e., certain paper products), but Bloom carries more organic, etc. Each of the stores puts out a different circular, though, and you can find good deals at all three if you keep out an eagle eye! Thank you (and Joy and Gretchen) for all your hard work on this project and for your savvy savings ideas!

  • Jeana March 19, 2010 at 09:17 pm

Has anyone heard of Miracle Mart or Market Place, I’m in Minot, North Dakota….
But thanks for all the deals!!!

  • kristine March 19, 2010 at 09:48 pm

I love this site, I check it everyday! (And have done for over a year now!) Your store lists are a wonderful edition and I’m excited to use them! Thanks so much for all your hard work, my check book and I sinecrely thank you!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Sharon March 19, 2010 at 09:49 pm

Hey, that’s awesome that you’ll be adding H-E-B soon!! You’ll be making us Texans real happy! :)

  • janaki March 20, 2010 at 01:15 am

This is a great idea but i love all the stores in CA and i dont like receiving 6 emails for 6 stores that i like.

So MSM can you group your feeds under a single title (ex CA STORES RSS FEED) so we get all the deals in a particular state

Its just my idea and love the way you wanted to help all of us from east to west.

  • Dana @ The Coupon Challenge March 20, 2010 at 05:33 am

You and everyone involved should be as you said “over-excited”! It’s an amazing accomplishment!

I’m thrilled that starting next week my Farm Fresh matchups will be featured!

    Min,
It’s funny you mentioned Bloom because my husband asked me last week why I don’t do matchups for there. I’d have to drop one of my other stores, and there’s no way I could have Crystal 2 stores by 9am. Farm Fresh takes me at least 3 hours! :)

  • Heidi March 20, 2010 at 06:37 am

WOW! I love this resource! Coupon Mom is just too time consuming for me to wade through. I appreciate all the work of these bloggers.

  • Emma K March 20, 2010 at 07:00 am

Love the new site. I didn’t realize that there was matchups for the Commissary’s so I’m very excited about that and might shop there more often now.

  • denise March 20, 2010 at 07:21 am

This is wonderful. Thank you SO much for all that you do for us.

  • Liz March 20, 2010 at 07:25 am

For some reason I can’t get Publix and Alidi to RSS feed. When I click on the link it just bookmarks it for me. I haven’t had trouble with CVS though. Any thoughts as to what I’m doing wrong???

Also, Bi-Lo would be a nice addition to the list :) (hint, hint)

  • Bekki March 20, 2010 at 07:33 am

It’s too bad no one blogs about Hannaford or the northeastern Price Chopper (not affiliated with the midwest Price Chopper that is on the list). Those are the only two grocery stores we have! Oh, well.

    • Rachel March 20, 2010 at 01:11 pm

      @Bekki,
I also shop at Price Chopper (in the northeast). If you want a blog, try www.wickedcooldeals.com. Also, www.weusecoupons.com is a message board that has a Price Chopper area that is fairly well used. :)

  • Jennifer March 20, 2010 at 07:33 am

I used this feature earlier this week and it worked perfectly. Love it!

  • Sasha March 20, 2010 at 08:15 am

Which Kroger coresponds to Virginia? I looked on all three but none of them listed Virginia (that I saw). Thanks for this awesome resource!

  • Emmi March 20, 2010 at 08:20 am

you rock!!!!Thanks to you and all your helpers!

  • Sarah Anderson March 20, 2010 at 08:37 am

This is awesome! So much easier than going through all the posts or searching to find the most recent deal post! Thanks!

    Sarah Anderson

  • Lindsey March 20, 2010 at 08:54 am

This is amazing!!!! Thank you so much!!!

  • Tasha Spears March 20, 2010 at 09:16 am

I would love to see Brookshire’s added to the grocery store list. It is the only chain grocery store in my area for 25 miles.

    Thanks for considering.
    Tasha

  • Ann B March 20, 2010 at 09:21 am

Any chance that you will be adding Whole Foods. I would like to shop there, but get scared away every time I try. It is the only “natural” food store around here that I know of.

  • Hannah March 20, 2010 at 09:32 am

This is awesome …. anyone do this for Reasor’s or Food Pyramid ??

  • Caren March 20, 2010 at 09:38 am

This is awesome. Thanks! Another request for Hannaford and northeastern Price Chopper here!

    • Rachel March 20, 2010 at 01:14 pm

      @Caren,
I don’t know anything about Hannaford, but check out www.wickedcooldeals.com and www.weusecoupons.com for Price Chopper deals until Crystal gets them here:)

  • Allison March 20, 2010 at 10:32 am

Thank you soooo much for including Azure Standard. My church sister just turned me on to this wonderful company and I’m excited to try it out!

  • Sara Childs March 20, 2010 at 11:39 am

Thank you thank you thank you!!!

  • mary March 20, 2010 at 12:00 pm

I too would like to see Festival and Woodman’s. I know Woodman’s only has a few stores, maybe all in Wisconsin? I think Festival may be a bigger chain.

    Thanks for the help.

  • Cortney March 20, 2010 at 12:09 pm

WOW God bless you all this is awesome!!! This makes things even easier for me now esp. because I’ve been so lazy just getting out of my first trimester. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Katie March 20, 2010 at 01:18 pm

I don’t mean to be signing anyone up to do something, but Saving with Shellie does a GREAT job of doing the Randall’s match-up each week; I only mention this because Randall’s isn’t listed yet.

  • LB March 20, 2010 at 01:35 pm

how wonderful! thank you so much!!

  • Sara @ ThrivingMama March 20, 2010 at 02:29 pm

What a great resource. Could you consider noting which states the chain refers to if a regional store with the links as chains like Giant and Price Chopper have different ownership in different areas of the country? I’d love to see Wegmans on here too :) (NY/PA store)

    • Angela March 20, 2010 at 07:41 pm

@Sara @ ThrivingMama, I think that would be a great additon too!!!

  • Megan March 20, 2010 at 02:36 pm

Great job, thank you for all this hard work. I really love it and appreciate a “one-stop” view for all these deals. It will make it a little easier for me to check out more than one store.

  • Carmen March 20, 2010 at 03:24 pm

I put a “vote” in for one other store (Fest Foods), but I also wanted to comment to let you know that I LOVE the fact that you now have store-specific feeds. I will probably still stay subscribed to your main feed – unless you’re planning on having a non-store feed in the future for everything else you cover?

  • Jen March 20, 2010 at 03:38 pm

Any idea if HEB in Houston is “related” to any of these?

    • Jen March 20, 2010 at 03:41 pm

      @Jen,

nevermind…I see you already answered that!

    • Crystal March 20, 2010 at 04:52 pm

HEB deals are being added next week!

  • Kama March 20, 2010 at 06:18 pm

Very cool and helpful. 2 questions…

    1. Brookshires? Will it be added?
    2. Will each of these deals also be published on your site because I’ve subscribed to your blog and to the RSS feed for the stores I want and I’m getting double for some of them (Walmart, Target…). Thanks!

  • amy March 20, 2010 at 07:10 pm

Which of the Albertsons links are current for Orlando, FL?

    This is awesome! Thanks, Crystal!

  • Caroline March 21, 2010 at 01:47 pm

This is great! Which Kroger do I click on for Virginia stores? Also, do you know how to get Martin’s which is owned by Giant in the western VA/MD area?

  • sunni March 22, 2010 at 07:23 am

This is amazing!!! Thank you so much for your hard work. It makes finding the deals at my favorite stores (Wags, Meijer, and Kroger) a cinch. You’re the best! THANKS AGAIN!

  • VA March 22, 2010 at 08:31 am

This is great! Does anyone know a site that covers Lowe’s foods, Bottom Dollar, and BiLo? I love shopping there but can’t find a blogger!

  • Kelly Webster March 24, 2010 at 12:42 am

    Question?

Now that I am subscribed to my individual feeds for Kroger and Publix……..how do I “unsubscribe” to the general feeds that already include these in my RSS feeds from Money Saving Mom?

To put it another way…..How can I avoid receiving double feeds from both the individual RSS feeds and the general Money Saving Mom RSS feed?
