  1. Cathy says

Our Applebee’s has Kids Eat Free night on Tuesday rather than Mondays, and Denny’s is every Tuesday thru Friday after 4, so the list above may not be true for everyone.

  2. Cathy says

Me again…Also, Atlanta Bread Company here has kid’s night on Tuesday’s. Kids eat more cheaply that night and there is a magician/balloon artist. El Chico Mexican restaurants here have Kids Eat Free on Thursday nights after 5 PM.

  3. says

    Great list! Thank you.

One note though, some of the restaurants on the list are a franchise so the promotion might be different. For example, Moe’s at my area has different promotion.

  4. says

Moe’s Southwest Grill must vary some by region or franchise owner. The two Moe’s in my city have kid’s eat free on Wednesdays. Just a heads-up! :)

  5. Melissa says

Thanks for the great list! I just wanted to add something about Perkins. At least in the Twin Cities Metro area the Kids Eat Free promo is only good from 4-10 pm on Tuesdays, billed as “Kids Night”. (And my six year old reminds me every week, LOL).

  6. Kim says

Just wondering….if an age is not specified does that mean any aged kid can order a free (or cheap) kids meal?

  7. says

Our Red Robin does NOT do any kids eat free nights. So you may want to check locally with these establishments before heading out for a cheap meal that really isn’t so cheap! Just FYI. . .

  8. says

Thanks! I was just wondering about this the other day! I am so excited you posted this…I have 4 boys and we love to eat out but it gets so expensive!

  9. says

I am not sure if my last comment took or not but I just wanted to say thanks for posting this! I was thinking about this the other day! It gets so expensive eating out with the kids…

  10. says

    In our area (Columbia SC)
Moes Kids eat Free on Tuesday night
Zaxby’s Kids eat Free on Tuesday night
Shoney’s Kids eat free every night

A strange one but one that I found while compiling the same kind of list for our area was Hooters kids eat free on Sunday afternoon and night.

  11. Kate says

This is great! Thanks! People need to be sure to call first though, because some chains are run by different management. My Applebees, for instance, doesn’t offer any free kids meals :(

  12. Chrissy says

One to add – at the Pasta House (delicious!) restaurants all over the St. Louis area kids eat free on Sundays. :)

  13. says

I didn’t see San Francisco Oven on there. Here they offer kids eat free, up to 2 per adult entree ordered, on Monday and Thursday nights. I am not sure what time.

  14. MrsCoach says

We found this list over the weekend and called our Applebees for tonight (Monday)… we found no Applebees in our area of NJ (3), Bennigans, or TGIFridays that participate!! (After the first few said no, I was on a mission to find one who said “yes” so started calling around to the various restaurants listed!) I guess it’s up to the particular restaurant whether or not to participate. What a bummer…as if living in NJ isn’t expensive enough!!

  15. lisa says

Our Nashville-area Chick-Fil-A does .99 kids meals on Tuesdays. Our O’Charley’s has stopped the kids eat free deal. :(

  16. Robin Sallee says

Went to Applebees tonight, they didn’t offer ANY free kids nights. Their website also doesn’t say anything about this. May just be a local thing.

  17. Bay says

The Chick-fil-A in our area (Mt. Laurel NJ) has a kid’s night on Tuesday nights and not only do they give a free kids meal with an adult combo meal purchase, but they have a wheel your child can spin (they don’t advertise this!) where you win something additional for free. Many times it is coupons for free chicken or side items. And with a fun little indoor play park, this place is hopping. 😉

  18. Jan says

Where does Bethanne live? The Applebee’s, Fridays, Damon’s, Chick-Fila around here do not do free kids meals- just Perkins.

  19. says

Well, these deals may not be national, but it does inspire us all to call and check around the local restraunts to find this info out–Thanks for posting it Crystal!

  20. says

This list is great…thank you! So many restaurants stop and start the free meal thing that it gets confusing. It would also be great to have a list of freebies for birthdays and whether or not you need to sign up online to get the deal for your kids.

  21. says

Not sure if they are still doing this one…In our area, kids eat free with paying adult at Denny’s on Tuesday and Saturday evenings.

Also kids eat free on Sundays with a paying adult at Hard Times Cafe.

  22. Debbie says

All Don Pablos are now offering 1 free kids meal with purchase of 1 adult meal on Sundays to members of their E club. It is free to join and also offers tons of great deals.

  23. Natalie says

Chevy’s Restaurants offer “kids eat free” on Sundays in the Seattle,WA area (one free kid’s meal per paying adult)

  24. Jackie says

Red Robin – Monday & Tuesday between 5:00pm and 9:00pm. Children 10 and under eat free. I went to Red Robin in MN and found that they DO NOT have a kids eat free night.

  25. Savannah Hankinsa says

At applebees on Tuesdays AND Thurdays kids can eat on one side of the kids menu for 0.99 cents and on the other side of the kids menu its a 1.99

  26. Melissa says

Zaxby’s- kids eat free on Tuesdays with purchase of adult meal after 5:00 pm. One per adult.

Toot’s- free kids hotdog meal everyday. And kids eat free tuesdays 3:00 pm-close
