What’s on your menu this week? Tell us in the comments or leave a link to your menu plan post.
Made the Cinnamon Sugar Oven Pancakes for lunch. They were very good. It has a nice texture. This is a nice change of pace from ordinary pancakes. Thanks, Crystal, for posting the recipe.
I wish I had three nights out for dinner this week! Here’s our meal plan: http://realfoodrealdeals.com/2014/03/03/real-food-meal-plan-week-6/
Curious if these are all the snacks you have on hand or if you always have other staples? Do you keep around prepackaged things only if Theyre at a discount? Trying to save as much as possible right now for medical treatments I desperately need!
(Prepackaged meaning non-homemade- Chips, pretzels, etc.)
We sometimes have other staples like granola bars or tortilla chips. It just depends… but we keep snacks pretty simple around here. (It helps that my kids LOVE popcorn!)
Definitely!! Very inexpensive compared to most kids snacks! Do you make your own granola bars or buy or both? I know with coupons its sometimes cheaper to buy
We do both, it just depends.
Since the cornmeal pancakes are listed under freezer cooking but also on the dinner menu, did you just make a double batch and freeze half?
That’s what I’m planning to do. 🙂
Made them tonight- SO good!! Thanks!
Do you make your sandwich bread from scratch? I am wondering if it is worth it since bread at Aldis is so cheap
I usually don’t, as I can normally get Nature’s Own sandwich bread for $1/loaf at the dollar store.
We should swap pizza dough recipes… I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine (because it’s easy, freezes well, and is pretty much no-fail), but I’ll have to give yours a try. I’m up for new things! Here’s mine if you’re interested:

Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!
Here is our plan for the week: http://www.ourprovidenthome.com/?p=487
I need to start planning my snacks better. The kids come home from school and whine that there is nothing to eat. There is plenty to eat, just nothing convenient or planned.
Here’s my menu plan – although I’ve already deviated! I went to buy salmon yesterday and cod was on sale so I bought that instead – AND there were beets in my produce box, so I made a beet salad (along with the green beans!): http://behealthybehappywellness.com/2014/03/menu-plan-for-march-3-9/
Cornmeal pancakes sound wonderful! I’m going to have to try those.
I just finished my March freezer cooking:

We are having build your own haystacks too this week. It’s become a favorite at our house.
Here’s our menu for this week, http://www.frugalfamilyhome.com/food/menu/menu-plan-monday-march-3rd
Thank you crystal!! I plan to follow these each week, they are perfect for our family!
You are welcome!
Your menus always look so tasty!
This is a week I’m subjecting the family to 5 or 6 new recipes so it will either be a yummy week at our house or not so yummy week! All of them look tasty to me so hopefully they will taste as good as they look! http://womenwithintention.com/meal-plan-monday-17/
I hope they are all successful!
