As I’ve mentioned before, we usually make a few bulk purchases on Amazon each week using gift cards earned through Swagbucks. This week, I bought a box of canned organic pumpkin and two rolls of foil.
I’m guessing that the pumpkin should last us through the Fall baking season. And the foil will probably last us for months.
I love being able to use my Swagbucks credit to buy quality items from Amazon. And it’s so nice to make bulk purchases of things we use often so that I don’t have to worry about replenishing my supply as often!
Trader Joe’s has organic pumkins for $1.99 per can:)
What about shipping costs? Do you pay extra for S&H?
No, I don’t pay for shipping — either my gift card covers it or it’s free with Super Saver Shipping.

I’d be curious to know the prices of these items. Do you keep a running total of the amount of things bought with the Swagbucks gift cards? Guess I’m a nerd that way, lol! 😉
Funny, I bought foil from Amazon a couple of years ago using my gift cards from Swagbucks as well. My friends thought it was weird I would buy that from there but hey, it was money that did not come out of my household account in the spending plan, 🙂
Oh I just added that pumpkin to my s&s order yesterday. A much better price than I can get it locally!
I was cracking up because it was so much less expensive to buy organic than non-organic when I bought this. Not sure why, but I’ll take it!
I noticed that too! I ordered a case last week. Time to bake your pumpkin chocolate chip muffins – my kids favorite!
I don’t buy things on Amazon but, I have been doing that with Walmart. I get about $50 to $100 every month. This helps my weekly budget a lot. Might need to look into Amazon again.
amazon also does a subscribe and save option if you have 5 things delivered in a month (same delivery) you get 20% off.
The subscribe & save option can be a great savings — especially when they offer coupons and sales! I love to follow the deals posted at JungleDealsandSteals.com to be alerted when there is a great sale on something!

Amazon offers quite a number of grocery items in bulk. Just search for whatever product it is you want to buy and look for those that say (pack of X) next to it. It will also usually tell you how much it costs per item or ounce.
