I LOVE doing potato stamps! Years ago, way – way – way- before stamping was a hobby (seriously it was 18 years ago) I made potato stamps and decorated plain brown mailing paper and used it for Christmas wrap! Love seeing this idea.

I really like this idea. My little one will love this except the paint will be EVERYWHERE 🙂

This is so crazy that you posted this! I was just thinking this morning that I wanted to make heart stamps with potatoes for my kiddos to use! Yay for a tutorial! And the tp tube idea is so fabulous, I’m definitely going to have to throw that in the mix , as well! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

What a great use of the toilet paper roll – love it! Perfect for toddlers too. If you are using finger paints, you can cover a page with the hearts and your little ones handprints for a “Hearts and Hands” themed Valentine card – something daddies and grandparents will love!
