I added a few fall recipes to my menu this week. It will be nice to have a little bit of a change from our summer menus:

Looks yummy! I’ve been wanting to try crockpot refried beans for a while. Here is ours for the week:

Do you freeze the cheesy hashbrown casserole? Before or after cooking?
I didn’t freeze it, but if I were to freeze it, I’d probably freeze it before baking.
Thanks, that was my thought too. 🙂
I am going to make your Breakfast Cookies this week! I hope my kids love them!
I love your freezer cooking in an hour sessions! I try to do them once a week too, way easier than cooking for 8 hours on a Saturday.
Here is our menu for the week:

Have a great week!
Thank you SO much for featuring my blueberry muffins in your awesome menu-plan! What an honor!
You are so welcome — I can’t wait to try them!
We have made the crock pot refried beans a few times and I love having them ready to go in the freezer. I really like them since the refried beans have went up in price to almost a dollar a can. So much cheaper to make your own.
I will have to give the single serving peanut butter cookies a try. I have a brown in a mug recipe that turns out really good. A cookie recipe would be good to have too.
THANK YOU! for the crockpot refried beans! We have just upgraded to a family of 6 and need to start being (bean-ing) more of a beans and rice family. I’ve been told refried beans are so easy to make.. however, I keep trying to find time!
CROCKPOTS are my Friend! WOOHOO! THank you! I really was just wondering if their was such a thing and look where the Lord lead me!
I really need to try out those crockpot refried beans! I don’t know what I’m waiting for…
This week, we have a few busy nights scheduled with school and my husband’s job, so I’m doing some quick and easy clean-up meals for dinners:

It’s nice to see your freezer cooking in a hour recipes again, Crystal! By the way, your new photo by your comments is so pretty. Seriously, like model gorgeous!
This week, we’re having Mexican Chicken Alfredo, Crock Pot Mac N Cheese, Lemon Chicken with rice, Taco Salad, Deep Dish Pizza, and Chicken Strips Milano plus one football game dinner out.
Do you soak the beans first?
Both the To Die For Blueberry Muffins and the Crockpot Refried Beans recipes have been g0-to basics for my freezer cooking for the past year. You’ll LOVE them!
I like to send homemade snacks for my kids at school and those muffins make it so easy–I just put into a container the night before straight out of the freezer, and they’re soft and ready to eat by mid-morning of the next day. Don’t skip the streusel topping–they really do make them over the top!
I LOVE this recipe for refried beans.. so easy to make, delcious, and it makes a HUGE amount! we keep them in the freezer in 1-2 cup portions for quick burrito makings, or to use on taco salads 🙂
