I noticed that Kroger raised their prices on milk. Have you noticed that at your store? Ours had been $2.69-$2.89 a gallon, but all gallons were $3.09 this past week.
I was excited about the butter sale! $1.99 is my stock-up price, so I bought 4 lbs to last until the next sale! (I always stick it in the freezer.)

I used one of the packages of tofu in place of cottage cheese/ricotta cheese in Ziti .
I didn’t have any mozzarella cheese, so I just made do with what we had!
We love Energy Bites — and I especially love that I can make them based upon whatever we have on hand! This time, I added in some dried fruit I had gotten on closeout recently. (Some of us thought that added a delicious flair to them. Others in the family said it ruined them!)

What are you going to do with all those limes?
Crystal Paine says
I’ve been squeezing a few into my water every day!

I haven’t noticed our milk going up in price yet, but in northwest Florida milk is regularly $4.09 at Publix. (It was $3.66 last week at Sam’s. I only go there about once a month, so I buy milk at Publix in between Sam’s trips. We don’t have Kroger or Aldi here.) I’m not trying to be critical, but your milk is still way cheaper than mine, and everything is going to go up with the push for a $15/hour minimum wage.
Crystal Paine says
What I’ve found is that in every location, there are things that are more expensive and less expensive! I always try to focus on what I can find inexpensively and to be grateful for that!
