I’ve made the crescent rolls with my Sunday School class for years. We call them Resurrection Rolls. SO yummy, and fun to share with the grownups during the coffee hour. I also make Butterfly Biscuits. You cut a regular refrigerated biscuit (the cheap ones…not the Grands version) in half. Put the rounded sides together. Sprinkle with colored sugar and bake. We often use the metamorphosis of butterflies as an analogy of the Resurrection…so this ties in well for my class. Happy baking!

Here’s another variety – take a package of Pillsbury crescent rolls (which you already bought on sale w/a coupon). Flatten them out just slightly. Place a marshmellow in the middle (Jesus). Wrap it up in crescent so it forms a round ball. Dip the ball in oil (stands for annointing) and cinnamon (and spices). Bake according to package directions. When you take it out and let it cool, open the “grave clothes” and nothing is there!

We’re GF too & these are entirely GF… I have made a few other types of cookies like this… they were delicious & caused no belly issues :)!
