I stock up on Christmas wrap, but sometimes you can find ‘Christmas’ paper that will work as birthday wrap too.

One thing she didn’t mention is coffee! Starbucks puts their holiday blend on sale for 50% off the week after Christmas. I haven’t been able to determine a pattern in terms of which day this happens but the Starbucks in my Target always does it 12/26. One year they even had it for 75% off on 12/27! January and February is the only time of year I ever drink the holiday blend.

I look forward to those deals every year, especially since my youngest child’s birthday is Christmas Eve! I buy the red / green m&ms and have my kids sort them, then use them for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day baking. I also buy the little gift things to use in Easter baskets and for good report card rewards.
