    If you buy three you only get $36 back (3×12=36) so I’m confused where the $48 back is coming from.

      No, you don’t have to buy three items. That’s just if you want to get the Kohl’s cash (you have to spend $50 to earn $10 in Kohl’s cash). I hope that makes sense. – Gretchen, MSM Team
