Dinner with family

We can get about those same prices at Grocery Outlet around here. You don’t get as much selection, but it is fun to see what they have and create meals round it.
I like these posts, too. I like to see more recipes, too, like the pumpkin muffins and enchiladas of Gretchen ever has time!
It would be awesome if you posted the dinner recipes for not so skilled cookers like myself. 🙂
Gretchen’s shopping trips and weekly menus is one of my favorite posts. I don’t have access in my area to the stores she shops, so my groceries cost much more. The menus show how reasonable a family can eat on a budget.
I would love to know how you can your peaches… Please let me know if you have time 🙂
I can peaches using diluted apple juice instead of sugar water. They taste great! I also can pears using diluted pineapple juice. When chilled, they are delicious.
Oh man, I should’ve waited to go to the store until this was posted!
This month I’m focusing on getting back in the coupon game, cutting my food costs, and eating more whole foods. Gretchen’s weekly shopping trip and both of your weekly menus are quite helpful.
Wish we had those kind of deals here only have Raleys aka Nob Hill from Bay area, Scolaries not cheap have to drive 30 miles for Safeway and Savemart nothing ever cheap in our area.
