I got some great deals too. Good diaper deals this week.

Woohoo! Great job!
Hi, I want to share an observation…..You seem to be counting your ECBs twice….when you purchase and you receive them you use them to calculate your “new” total….then when you make your next purchase and you say that you used the ECBs from a previous purchase, but you have already “counted” that deduction on the original after cash new total. I hope that makes sense…you got $6 ECBs on this purchase which you use to calculate your $1.21 total $7.21… it would be incorrect to use the $6 in that calculation because you will be applying it on future purchase. I mean no offense, I just see that it is a double deduction. Thank you
If you follow along each week, Gretchen shows how she uses the ECBs from the following week toward the next week’s purchases. So she only counts them once — when she uses them. The total here was from using ECBs she earned last week. She’ll count the $6 she earned this week toward next week, they aren’t calculated in the total you see above.
I hope that clarifies and sorry if it’s confusing. If you follow along each week with her purchases, you can see how she’s rolling the ECBs to get some GREAT deals for very little out of pocket.
Perhaps the $37 was regular non-sale prices?? Often when CVS has a promo with ECB, they have a “sale” price.
Yes, it’s the pre-sale prices. Thanks for mentioning that so I could clarify!
Am I missing something? I’m not seeing how the total before the coupons adds up to $37.
I also am not getting $37 when I add the prices given. I’ve noticed this in some of her other shopping trip posts.
The total pre-coupons is also before sale prices too. I hope that helps!
Nice 🙂
