Are you participating in the Clear Out the Clutter Challenge? If so, you can enter how many items you’ve decluttered in the form below in order to enter to win a prize!
Here’s how it works:
::Participate in one or all of the five Clear Out the Clutter Challenge Assignments I’m be posting over the next week.
::Get rid of stuff and tally approximately how many items you’ve gotten rid of.
::Fill out the form below with the number of items you’ve decluttered (you can enter up to five times per person since there will be five different assignments).
::Once the Challenge is over with, I’ll tally up the results and randomly pick five winners from all those who’ve entered.
The five winners will receive one of the following prizes of their choice, donated by me: a $15 iTunes e-gift card; a $20 Barnes & Noble e-gift card; or a $20 Target e-gift card.
Happy decluttering!

There was a big children’s consignment sale in our community this weekend. Thanks to the challenge, I was able to take 132 items to the sale and made some big$$$ to put in our vacation fund!!! Never would’ve gotten it done without a little motivation. 😀

My kitchen has little space to get cluttered, so I began with my closet and dresser drawers last night. I got rid of 6 pairs of shoes, 1 bag of old workout clothes went in the trash, and about 50 items are going to a charity in camden. My next big clear outs are the kids toy baskets and our vcr videos and dvd’s cabinet. It’s insane in there!!!!

Kitchen is done. I had to throw out 2 garbage bags full of outdated stuff in the pantry (sad!) and had 3 more grocery bags of stuff to give away. I also got rid of several things in the kitchen I haven’t used in years. Loving this!

I just started Decluttering. I am doing one room at a time and trying to find a new purpose for old things (trying to be green). If I cant but they are still good, I donate.

I cleared out over 150 items today from my daugher’s closet. I couldn’t believe all that was in there. Now I wonder what she will wear this summer. It’s pretty bare in there. She has a swim suit and a couple tank tops and some leggings for cool days. Oh and a pink hoodie for cool nights but no shorts or dresses and only a couple t-shirts. I am thinking a 2 year old will slop up that little wardrobe in about 10 seconds flat once she hits the back yard or has lunch! I need to do some serious baby clothes shopping soon.

I’m making slow but steady progress. 16 items so far!

I can not believe it! In just our itty bitty coat closet I got rid of 25 things!! Old coats, scarves and even excess blankets are headed out the door!

I’ve cleaned out three closets and two toy chests. Plus, the laundry/storage room, the bill box, one bathroom, and three bedrooms. I still need to tackle the kitchen and another bath but worst of all the attic.

Thanks so much for this challenge! It couldn’t have come at a better time. We are in the process of moving in a few weeks and have decided to hold a massive garage sale. I have cleared out over 500 items, from my 4 kids clothing to kitchen stuff. I hate to admit it, but we still had items in boxes tht hadn’t been opened in our garage from our move 1 year ago!! That is all changing now.
Way to go!!

Oh My Gosh you have inspired me!!!!! I have gotten rid of 30 items from decluttering my house and can I tell you how great it feels?!?!?!?! Between baby stuff, toys and just household knick knacks I didn’t need around the house anymore I can’t believe how much you accumulate! I think I will tackle the garage next and see how much more stuff I can get rid of! Thanks for this!!

I didn’t keep track so I estimated. After 3 closets and a play room, I have 1 more closet this week. I did the other closets in January!

Ihave a large hobby/sewing room upstairs (too large it just holds more junk I mean clutter). It always seems to be the room where everything gets tossed. Right now I’m attempting to clear 75% of it (garage sale EOM)Wish me luck…I have a hubby who eats, sleeps and breathes cluttler LOL!

I am decluttering for many reasons, just moved from Wisconsin to Minnesota, I’m tired of moving things I don’t need, and I am expecting a little girl at the end of July! Gotta make room for her and all of her things!!

Kitchen clutter drives me nuts! I usually do this several times a year….just yesterday I took 2 large bags to our local food pantry! It’s a wonderful feeling to clear out my kitchen clutter & give back to my community at the same time!!!

I can’t stand clutter! I am all about keeping only the things that are useful or beneficial to our family. When we have too much clutter it really makes we start doing a clean sweep of the house.

So generous of you ~ and what a great motivation you have for us in hosting this challenge! Sometimes, we just need that little push in getting a few things done…and how neat that it can be so fun!!
Blessings on you and your family!
