When we were on vacation, I had brussel sprouts that were chopped and then sautéed in garlic and olive oil. They were delicious!
Hmmm…you may be onto something with the “chopped” idea. Dfinitely going to give that a try. Thanks!!
Try Brussel Sprouts by roasting them in the oven at 450. So Good! Just a little olive oil and salt. I let mine stay in there until they are slightly burnt on the edges, about 30 mins. I didn’t think I would like them much either until I tried this. We have them about once a week now! 🙂
Ooh! I have made them like that before and they were fabulous!! My kids didn’t like them (seriously????), but that was quite a while ago, so I need to give it a go again. Thanks for reminding me!
Always love seeing your shopping trips. Thanks!
Brussel sprouts weren’t too popular at my house either until I tried sautéing them and adding cheese on top. This recipe works great if you need some ideas: http://thejewishlady.com/sauteed-brussel-sprouts-with-cheese/
Thanks so much for sharing! I LOVE them, but can’t get my family on board. Definitely will have to give your suggestion a try.:)
I hope the recipe ideas help. Some veggies are really hard for kids to like. Reading your menu and shopping post every week is awesome. You do a great job staying on budget and offering a variety of tasty food.
Nice job 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
