Where is the price of the meats?
I didn’t spend any money on meat this week. You have to follow my posts from week to week for my menu planning/grocery shopping to make sense. Last week (or maybe it was two weeks ago?) I bought 80lbs of chicken breasts from an online site called Zaycon (which I showed pictures of and included in my grocery budget for that week). I won’t need to buy chicken again for 4-6 months. I also buy ground beef in bulk from Zaycon periodically (and when I do, I include that in my blog post for that week). I purchase bacon, tuna, fish, ham, turkey, and sausage at the regular grocery store (not online) when they are on sale/I have coupons for them and keep them in my refrigerator or freezer. My husband is a hunter, so he brings home around 150lbs of venison every winter (free), so that is a staple in my freezer as well. All that to say – some weeks, you will see ALOT of meat in my grocery shopping trip. Other weeks, like this week, I already had what I needed and didn’t need to buy any. Everything averaged out, I usually spend around $75 a week, and this would include all meat. Hope this helps!
