We didn’t expect our son to get a year-round job, because we would have had to drive him to work. He did get summer jobs since he could bicycle to them (no snow!).
There are lots of jobs they can do if you live in a neighborhood — like snow shoveling or yard work or poop scooping!

Yes, I totally agree! My kids also have to have jobs by 15. They are responsible for their own cell phone bill and car insurance payments, among other things. It’s a great way to teach them early so they will be familiar with finances when they are on their own.
Yes! We say we hope to teach them at the $3 and $30 level to hopefully save them from making the $3000 and $30K mistakes when they are older!
