I love my Vitamix and we use it almost daily — to make smoothies, frappes, iced coffee, sauces, and much more. It’s a great appliance to have in your kitchen to aid you in preparing yummy and healthful recipes.

    I think I would take the gift card. Because i can get a vitamix less than 500 on amazon. Or…take the gift card and use it for essentials and Christmas. I have so wanted a vitamix for some time! We love to make smoothies. Except ours are typically just fruit and veggies. Yum!

I tried something I normally wouldn’t like in a smoothie (because of texture) in someone else’s vita mix once, and there was no texture issue because it blended everything so much better than what I currently have (which is also a pretty high end blender).

    That is such a toss up because I could use both right now. We found out recently that my husband has an integrated skin cancer on his nose and since finding this out, we have re-committed to eating better, and we make fruit smoothies all the time. So a vitamix would be amazing! But $500 to Amazon would be equally incredible so we could buy essential oils, diffusers, and fitness equipment to help us on our road to healthier lives! My husband and I are working hard to pay off our student loans; I’m working 3 jobs because he has an an autoimmune disease that limits how much he can physically manage. The blender he got in college is on its last legs, and we use it frequently since we cook all of our meals at home to save money and make sure we are eating as nutritiously as possible.     I would love to win the $500 cash. We are always needing things from Amazon. I have to eat gluten free and have health issues. Plus my husband and I are taking care of our sick dog. We already lost our other dog of 14 years 5 weeks ago. It was like losing a best friend.

    We don’t really want an empty nest but our daughter, son in law, and 2 grandsons live far away-military life for them, it is hard. Our daughter has MS.

    Would love to buy them something nice for Christmas too. They are coming in soon and will be here for my 49th birthday. We get to see them about 2 times a year. Times are tough for a lot of people now.

My 14 year old son REALLY needs a new mattress as his is the one he has had since he was 2. I have one picked out on amazon already but have been waiting for the money. It runs $279.
