I am so curious….what modifications do you make to lasagna to be dairy free?? I, too, am dairy free and lasagna is one of my favorite foods! How do you eat pepperoni rolls?

I’ve never heard of Turkey Hill. I would LOVE to find ice cream with fewer ingredients! The only one I’ve seen is Haagen Daas, which is very expensive…and only comes in pints.
Do you know of other stores that sell Turkey Hill? We don’t have Krogers. Or is it just a local brand? Like here in TX we have Blue Bell and we like it, but it’s not exactly healthy.
I must say that Turkey Hill is quite a funny brand for ice cream, though. I mean, you can’t exactly milk turkeys! lol
Caroline says
If you check their website, they have a “where to buy” link at the bottom. 🙂
lyss says
Thanks for that info…looks like no stores within 100 miles of me! Oh well…

Thanks for posting this! Our ad didn’t show the Philly cream cheese as being part of the $4 off 4 deal, but with that and the Glad trashbags (ended up cheaper than the bags already on my list) and some dish soap (which I needed too), I ended up with more items for very close to the same price I was originally planning to spend. Haven’t done a coupon deal for a while, so it was fun too! Now to make some bagels for the cream cheese… 🙂

You can also get some great coupons from Turkey Hill by calling 1-800-MYDAIRY. You can call once a month. They send me around 5-8 coupons for any of their dairy products or drinks. We go through lots of Turkey Hill here!
LauraC says
You can also email Turkey Hill and tell them how much you like their ice cream and they will send you a nice packet of coupons. And they will tell you that you can do it again every few months.
Michelle Cochran says
Can you share your non dairy version of Ziti? we do a lot of Office pot lucks and a few of my coworkers are on dairy free diets.
Rhonda says
Thank you for adding your sister Gretchen’s shopping trips to your blog. I’ve learned about some great deals from this.
Pamela says
I love the Gretchen series! Keep ’em comin’!
Shanna says
I know Dillons is part of the Kroger chain and my Kroger store only doubles up to .50 on 2 like coupons per one order. They also only let you do one order per day of the same coupons. Very strict but I try not to complain to much since they are the only grocery left in my area that doubles. Our local Meijer quite doubling in March 🙁 I am loving seeing your sisters grocery store savings & menu plans every week.

Don’t forget to check your most recent Parents magazines. I know they have had $1.00 off one Turkey Hill Naturals at least twice in the last three editions.
Amy says
Can someone remind me who Gretchen is?
That looks like a great trip and good menu plan.
I do miss seeing your menu plan, though, Crystal. You eat very similarly to us, and I always find something good to plan for my family. Are you taking a break from posting it, or did I just miss it?
Crystal says
She’s my younger sister. 🙂
And my menu plans are coming back next week, I just took the last two weeks off from posting menu plans and some of our other regular features to give myself a little breather while we transition into our summer schedule. They should be back next week — thanks so much for your kind patience and understanding!

I’ve sure enjoyed Gretchen’s shopping trips! She gets some great deals and it’s very inspiring even though my store doesn’t double coupons either. Please keep them coming.
Jenn says
Could I ask what your weekly budget is andd how many are in your family?
Chelsea says
Great trip!! Is this from this week’s sales? I’m going to Dillon’s tonight and hadn’t noticed some of these deals. But I’d love to try that ice cream!
Gretchen says
The Mega Sale carries over into this week. 🙂 There is a brand new Turkey Hill ice cream coupon on Recycle Bank for 50 points right now that would make the ice cream only $1.49…just in case you buy it!
Chelsea says
Thanks so much! I went to tonight and walked away with some great deals. Your trips give me the reminder and motivation I need to keep couponing even when I don’t want to make time for it. I just wish I could figure out your health food store secret. Every time I go I can’t find any markdowns!!
Crystal says
Have you gone on Tuesdays? That’s when they have the best produce deals since it’s in conjunction with their Farmer’s Market.
august says
You could price match Aldi’s price on the strawberries at Target. Here the strawberries are $1.16 at Aldi’s, but I know other places have them for .99. Add the .50 coupon and you’ve got a steal!

My Krogers doesn’t double anymore , I miss it 🙂

Mine doesn’t either 🙁
