It’s FRIDAY! And I’m celebrating! And I’m keeping the assignment very simple today:
Today’s Assignment
1. Get dressed in something that makes you feel great.
2. Make a short to-do list for the day.
3. Tidy up your kitchen — do the dishes and wipe the counter tops off.
4. Make your bed.
5. Straighten the main living areas of your home and celebrate the progress you made this week on de-cluttering!
I’m finishing up the last section of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up (pages 174 to 206) and will blog my thoughts on it later today.
Who’s joining me? Leave a comment to let me know if you’re planning to participate!

I didn’t participate this week-no time. But, we have a week off homeschool next week. I think I’ll pick an area each day to clean out. A few cupboards and closets need it. Maybe I’ll convince my kids to do their toys!

And the most surprising revelation for me today, is that by the end of the week, the simplest chores, or challenges, are the hardest!

These have been fun to read this week! I can’t wait to dig into my own house soon 🙂

Thanks for the idea of the “stand up” drawer method!! 🙂 I did that for my jeans, sweater/travel knit, & pj’s drawers. I’m using an empty box in the sweater drawer as a bookend to make them stand up better & have a small box for rolled belts in the jean drawer as a bookend. I have sooo much more room!! Plus it’s easier to grab what I want to wear.

Mine fit better when I put them front to back in the drawer.

I can do that!!
