48-Hour Giveaway: Marriage Book Bundle from Kathi Lipp (15 Winners)

I’m excited to introduce you to my friend, Kathi Lipp, today. I read her book, The Husband Project, last year and loved it. My husband loved the fact that I read it, too! 😉 Then, I got to hear her speak at another conference I attended (she’s hilarious and so down-to-earth).

When I attended the She Speaks Intensive, I was shocked to discover that she was in my small group. And truthfully, I felt a little nervous to meet her since I know she’s written a LOT of books and has spoken all over the country at many different big events.

But I got over my fears and went to talk to her and tell her I loved The Husband Project. Well, guess what? She and I instantly “clicked” and in just two short days became dear friends.

Kathi is a woman who knows the pain of difficult marriage and divorce. She’s now blessed to remarried to a wonderful man and her years of wisdom and experience give her so much depth to speak from.

If you love authors who are engaging, funny, and authentic, you’ll be blessed by Kathi’s books! That’s why I’m thrilled to be giving away a prize package to 15 winners today with four of Kathi’s books.

15 readers will win:

::One free copy of Praying God’s Word for Your Husband
::One free copy of The Husband Project
::Two free copies of The Marriage Project

  • Terri says:

This look like a very awesome giveaway. It is great there are 15 winners too! I hope I win. Having a happy marriage is one of the best investments a women can make in her life.

Last week I heard Kathi Lipp on the radio for the first time—and now I’d like to read everything she’s ever written! Thank you, also, for setting up the easiest giveaway-entering process on the Web. 🙂

Does anyone have any recommendations on good books for husbands to read? I spend a lot of time reading and trying to do better in every area of my life. Career, children, cooking, homemaking and my marriage. My husband reads fiction and gadget/techno blogs. I don’t feel like he invests as much into self-improvement as I do and he even teases me about it. He would never seek something out on his own but if anyone knows of a good read for the hubbies, can you share?

    • Teri Capshaw says:

The Exemplary Husband: A Biblical Perspective by Stuart Scott is an excellent Bible based book for Christians. However, you’d probably also want to get The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace with is the companion volume so you could go through the course together. Of course, it’s something you would have to approach prayerfully and just the right sense of humor to talk him into it!

    • Amanda says:

I’d tell him you’re upgrading your personal software, and invite him to do the same. After all, that’s essentially what the point of self-improvement is, right? I know Lifehacker used to make a similar point, but that site’s been less and less useful lately.

  • Bella says:

Heard her on Focus on the Family last week! I was blessed. Hope I win a set. thanks

    • Brandi says:

I’ve looked and our library doesn’t have any of her books in the system of libraries to borrow from 🙁 One of her books was on my Christmas list, but I didn’t get it. Would love to bless my marriage with this!

      • Mandy W. says:

I just discovered the same thing – our library has nothing from her. I am going to try to request that they order The Marriage Project, the Husband Project, and the Organizing Project because I can’t afford to buy them myself.

        • Brandi says:

I requested this awhile back and my library said they need requests from 5 people to put it on the list to be considered. :/

  • Kimberly says:

Thank you for the chance to win! My husband and I have been working to improve our marriage and this would definitely help (I don’t think we were as ready as we thought we were to start our family!). With two little ones under three, our patience and care for each other has worn thin quickly and we are trying to get back on the right track.

  • Laura Miller says:

I just heard about the book The Husband Project at my MOPS meeting this week. I have looked at all of Kathi Lipp’s books on Amazon and want to read them all. Hoping I win this. Thanks for the giveaway Crystal!

  • Karen says:

I have recently heard Kathi and really enjoy her. I’ve been doing her 7 day Challenge on Encouraging your husband. It’s been very awesome. I’d love to win a set and would put them to good use. Thanks!

  • Shari says:

I entered the drawing. I hope to win, we sure could use the book right about now.

  • Tiffany says:

This is a wonderful opportunity and much needed by so many. It would be such a blessing for my family if I were to win. Thank for such wonderful information.

  • Donna says:

Would love to win and gift it to my future DIL!
