48-Hour Giveaway: 20,000 Days and Counting by Robert D. Smith (10 Winners)

A number of months ago, I happened to notice that this guy named Robert D. Smith was following me on Twitter. I probably wouldn’t have noticed except that I saw he was Andy Andrew’s manager. My husband had just recently told me that he had read one of Andy Andrew’s books and enjoyed it, so when I saw that connection, I naturally had to checked out Robert’s website.

As soon as I went to his website, I could tell Robert and I were on a similar wavelength when it comes to intentional living. I downloaded his free ebook called Battle-Tested Branding and was so challenged by it that I went and pre-ordered his first book.

20,000 Days and Counting is a quick read. He says it should only take you an hour to read. It actually took me two hours because I wanted to carefully mull over its pages instead of rushing through it.

It’s packed with a challenging message on the importance of living each day fully and completely. However, it’s not about just being ultra productive but about enjoying and savoring all of life’s little moments and having an purpose, plan, and clear-cut vision for why you’re here on this earth.

As is evidenced from the video above, Robert is highly energetic and enthusiastic about life — and I think we all could use a dose of some of his excitement about life. I think just about anyone in any situation in life will find motivation and inspiration in the pages of 20,000 Days and Counting.

And that’s why I’m excited to be giving away 10 free copies today. To enter to win a free copy of 20,000 Days and Counting, just click on the graphic below and type in your name and email address. This giveaway ends Thursday, January 31, 2013. Ten winners will be chosen and posted on Monday.

I have heard this idea of intentional living THREE times this last week. Once from my pastor, from another website on intentional leadership, and now here. I think maybe God is trying to tell me something. Thank you for your posts. You inspire me to do more.

Hi, another great book to read:

Intentional Integrity: Aligning Your Life With God’s Values by Millard MacAdam.

I loaned it to a friend, and never got it back, but I’m hoping they put to good use or passed it on to another person, paying it forward.

I need to pick up another copy, it was that good.
