30-Day House Cleaning Challenge: Project #29

During the month of April, I’m encouraging my readers to participate in a 30-Day House Cleaning Challenge (read more here, if you missed my announcement about this challenge last week). Every week day morning at 9 a.m., I’ll post the daily project and every evening around 6 p.m. EST, I’ll post an update and link-up.

April 29, 2013 Project

Today’s project is to clean one thing (such as your dresser drawer, the microwave, oven, etc.).

I’d recommend thinking of the one area that has really been bugging you recently or that one project you’ve been saying “I’ve got to get that clean tomorrow or next week…”

I know exactly what my one thing is going to be: it’s going to be our bathroom drawer that half a bottle of medicine accidentally spilled in over the weekend. I didn’t have a chance to deal with it yet because we were gone almost the entire weekend, so today is the perfect day to get it cleaned up.

What one thing are you cleaning today?

Come back here at 6 p.m. EST and I’ll have a linky so you can link up your pictures of your accomplishments today!

  • Oh, I can do this!

I will clean my stove top.

Thanks for the motivation! Hope you have a wonderful day 🙂

  • Jessica says:

I cleaned the top of my stove. I cook a lot and it gets splattered and messy and it was getting on my last nerve!

  • I know what my one thing is going to be: the hall closet. It has been a catch-all for long enough and it’s time to get the thing cleaned out!

  • Shelly says:

I’m going to be vacuuming today as my floors really need it from over the weekend.

  • K Quinn says:

I’m hoping to clean out some bathroom cabinets today. Stay tuned…

  • Melissa says:

The backyard is the one thing that needed my attention today as I didn’t get to it over the weekend. (We have a dog so this is something that needs to be done regularly). I got it all cleaned up this morning before it got too hot. I also did a quick clean of our extra bathroom and of our kitchen counters before I zipped off to work this morning as we’re having company over tonight after work. I got a load of laundry thrown in the washer then in the drier but unfortunately it wasn’t done drying before I left for work so I still have to fold it when I get home. Hopefully I’ll have a few minutes to do this before our company shows up! 🙂

  • April M. says:

My dog! She really needed a bath and a trim so I did those this evening. Earlier today I cleaned out her crate and washed and dried all her blankets, pillows and toys.
    A little spoiled. 🙂
