How I Saved Today: My FREE order from ePantry.com!

My ePantry order

So, remember when I told you about the great deal ePantry was offering to my readers on Mrs. Meyer’s products and other natural cleaners and products?

Remember how I also told that for a few days only, if you shared about ePantry with your friends and they made a purchase through your referral link, you’d get a $20 credit to ePantry?

Well, a number of you ordered through my link and helped me earn quite a bit of ePantry credit. (Thank you!)

Above is a picture of what I ordered from ePantry with my referral credit. I am excited to not only be able to use some of these products for our family, but also to have extras to give away to others. We’ve already had fun blessing some people with Mrs. Meyer’s products!

Psst! Interested in getting the deal on Mrs. Meyer’s products? You can find a very similar deal to the one I was offering over on MomAdvice.com through Tuesday only.

We spent $2 at Walmart on a snack instead of going out to dinner while we were out of the house for 7 hours. We ate left-overs when we came home.

  • Kandace says:

We had my son’s birthday party and instead of going the easy route with catered food and a bakery cake, we made chili and tortilla soup and my husband decorated the cake. We also used the Fiesta bowls we had instead of buying disposable. Everything was a hit!

I spent $12.55 today for 10 cans of soup, 3 cans of diced tomatoes, a box of Cheerios, a box of Kix, a box of Triscuts, a 20 oz Mtn Dew, and a snickers!!

I got my daughter 6 winter outfits and my 7 year old 5 pairs of barely worn pants for 30 dollars!!! Oh and my daughter the cutest snow pants for 1.75!!!

Our kids broke the plug on the vacuum. I thought we were going to have to head to the store and fork out money for a new one (while on a college budget for 6). A quick call to the hardware store, and I found out you can buy plugs and rewire the cord. For only a couple of bucks we had our vacuum up and running!

We went to the church thrift store today; my daughter got 2 very nice dresses and a sweater, I got jeans and a shirt for my grandson and 11 books (for me), and my grandson got a toy: for $4.10! 😀

My son’s work pant’s had a hole in the knee and lost the button closure at the wait band. So I showed my son how to sew a button on, and how to patch a hole in the knee. Those pants have a lot of life left in them, and since he works construction, these pants are fine.

The best part was spending some time with my son, and teaching him a new skill. <3

Today I saved by choosing to take an extra shift at work over the trip to New York I was torn on attending. Instead of spending a lot of money I don’t have right now, I chose to earn some more instead 🙂 It was a rainy, gloomy day anyway!

We went camping with my sons Cub Scout troop (free to use since the township has open space free to groups) for entertainment. While there my boys borrowed a pack tent (saved money buying one). The tent ended up getting a puncture hole. We thought we were going to have to buy a new one until we calmed down and thought out what we would do if it were out tent. We managed to get a tent repair kit for under $10 at a sporting goods store and repaired the puncture. It would have been easy to let emotion overcome us and just go buy a tent but we think we taught all four of the kids that a level head makes better financial choices.

I was one of the people who helped you with that credit. I got my first order and referred a few people too, so I’m going to place my free order soon. I’m very impressed with their customer service and prices. They are my go-to site for Mrs Meyers products now. =] MUCH cheaper than amazon and even Target’s sale prices. That’s so good of you to share your free order too. I saved today by putting together leftovers for a hodgepodge supper instead of take out. We’re hoping to make it til Wednesday before we need to go grocery shopping so we can combine 2 trips into one, saving gas $.

  • Alecia Wimer says:

We ate left-overs for lunch, after church, instead of going to the Chinese buffet. We are a family of six, so we did really save!

I took advantage of a friend having a yard sale this weekend and knowing she is my size, I went over there and bought about 15 pair of dress pants, 30 or so shirts, 3 jacket/blazers for $100!!! All in like new condition and some with tags still on them!!

  • l bryant says:

Earlier in the week I brought a bag of clothes from my fathers house to a local charity thrift store that helps adult with learning disabilities. I am on a first name basis with the two store managers and we often share what is going on in our daily lives. I explained that I was trying to locate blue jeans for my son in a particular size and cut. She told me that she had just received a large donation of the type of jeans I needed. She was planning on putting them out the next day. I could not get there until Friday and she offered to put the size I needed aside until then. I was able to purchase 5 pairs of name brand jeans at $1.99 each.

Purchased a set of towels at Ross – 2 of everything for only $30! Oh, the brand was Nautica.

  • Mary says:

Today we used free batteries from Harbor Freight in my son’s leappad, and then came home from a very late football game and had Cheerios (double coupons!) for supper, even though I was DYING to drive through somewhere since tomorrow will also be a long, rough day. It was late, but the kids were troopers and nobody complained! Yay!

  • I saved money today by not actually buying anything.
