You did a great job on your goals from last week. We had a busy week but I was able to get to about half of my goals done. Things just come up that need attention some weeks and it always seems they are things I don’t think about putting on my goal list. 🙂

I love this! I often find myself running around in circles as I feel overwhelmed at all of the things I want to accomplish on all work and home areas of my life. This is a doable goal to hold myself accountable and I adore the very simple and obvious, yet GENIUS way to break goals into categories.
Thanks!

I’m so glad you found it helpful and encouraging. It really does make a big difference to break goals down like this!

I saw this post linked in Facebook and loved it! I think setting goals is paramount to getting this done. I just created a list on ListPlanIt that mentions this series, but I would like to link it here for an explanation of the series. Do you have a post that describes your weekly goals posts? I would like to link to that one. Let me know. I completed my 10 goals for the week and link to it in your Mr. Linky. It is great to set these goals down for accountability. Thanks, Crystal!

Thankyou for this I have reserved Daring Greatly at the library & look forward to it, and I have made myself some goals for the wek.

Hi Crystal,
I love that you are working on memorizing large portions of Scripture. I read a book called His Word in my Heart by Janet Pope and it had a huge impact on my Scripture memory. The authors has memorized over 121 chapters of the Bible. I think it would be a huge encouragement to you and based on what I know about you from reading your blog, I think the auhor’s method would fit for you.

Thanks so much for sharing!

Good job!
I really struggle with the exercise this time of year, there is just so much to do. Thank you for the reminder to make it more of a priority.
Anne @ Modern Mrs Darcy says
You finished Daring Greatly! What did you think?
Crystal says
Completely and utterly life-impacting. By far, one of the most challenging books I’ve read in a long time. I will never be the same.

This is on my library wish list after seeing thoughts from two of my favorite book ladies!
Crystal says
As a caveat: It’s not from a Christian perspective and it has a lot of language in it. But if you’re okay with that, the message is incredibly powerful and one I think everyone needs to read.

I’ve been in a goal “slump” for awhile as I’ve been dealing with some really tough things. But I’m trying to get back in the saddle again. Thanks so much for your example week in and week out. 🙂 Have a great day!

I do 5ish goals each week when I menu plan and find it super helpful. I should try separating them by category and make a few more like you do. It’s amazing how much writing something down makes you can make me be more productive.
Crystal says
Yes! It is amazing the difference it makes!

My kids LOVE The Chronicles of Narnia! In fact, I am redecorating their room to with some Narnia-themed ideas. 🙂
And Bread & Wine is sitting to the right of my computer. Great book!
I have an advance copy of your newest book and am hoping to make a little progress on it this week. Looking forward to it! I’m a little bit behind in my Read 100 books this year goal, but I’ll still be happy if I get to 75. 🙂
I recently starting working more full-time (from home), and so my fitness goals have been on the back burner for a few months. But just last week I went back to trying to run 10 miles a week–I did it last week and it felt so good!
Crystal says
Yay for running 10 miles!! I’ve not been as faithful as I would like to be with running, so you’re inspiring me!
