Have you enjoyed the video clips of my interview with Chris Seay? If so, you’ll definitely want to enter to win one of 10 copies of his book, A Place At the Table: 40 Days of Solidarity With the Poor.

From the Amazon description:

In a culture built on consumption–especially of food–it is easy to forget the poor that Jesus cared so much about. Following the pattern of his successful Advent Conspiracy, Chris Seay invites readers on a journey of self-examination, discipline, and renewed focus on Jesus that will change their lives forever.

He challenges readers to eat like the poor for forty days in solidarity with a much-neglected group of people, and to donate the money they save on groceries to a charity or project that serves the poor in concrete ways. But he doesn’t expect them to go it alone. A Place at the Table includes a short chapter for each of those forty days with Scripture, reflections, prayers, encouragement, and tips for engaging the whole family in the process.

To enter to win a copy, just click on the graphic below and type in your name and email address. 10 winners will be chosen and posted on Monday. This giveaway ends Thursday, February 23, at 11:59 pm, CST.

Tricia Goyer’s novel, Chasing Mona Lisa, is free on Amazon.com today only (February 20, 2012)!

As most of you know, I’m not usually much of a fiction fan, but after meeting Tricia recently, I decided to try reading one of her fiction books the day we were traveling to Florida last week. Guess what? I loved it! In fact, I could barely put it down. It was a good thing Jesse was traveling with me, because I probably would have missed my flight for being so engrossed in a book. He just kept cracking up at how into the the story I was! :)

I enjoyed it so much that I also read a second book of hers this weekend and loved it, as well. So maybe I’m changing my stance on fiction? Or I just love Tricia’s writing style? I’m not sure, but at any rate, I’m excited to get my hands on more of her books!
