24-Hour Giveway: Win a free Kindle PaperWhite (or $179 Amazon gift card!)

I told you I had a hot giveaway coming up, didn’t I? Well, here it is…

In celebration of the launch of my new ebook, I’m giving away a free Kindle PaperWhite to one reader here today. You can keep it for yourself, give it as a gift, or even sell it!

Or, if you aren’t interested in a Kindle, if you win, you can also choose to just get a $179 Amazon.com gift card.

Here’s how to enter to win:

1. Purchase Celebrating & Savoring A Simple Christmas, or blog about it, or post about it on Twitter (be sure to link to the salespage here in your tweet), or post about it on Facebook (be sure to link to the salespage here in your post or click on the “Like” button on this post and share it on Facebook), or pin a link to the ebook on Pinterest (you can repin this pin, if you’d like). Or do any combination of all five things.

2. Fill out the form below.

3. You may enter for each action you take (purchase, tweet, pin, etc.), up to five times maximum per person per day. If more than one member of your household wants to participate, they are welcome to, provided they have a separate Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and/or blog account.

4. Each entry counts for one entry for the free Kindle. One winner will be randomly chosen from all entries.

5. The entry form closes a 4 p.m. EST on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. One will be randomly selected and posted at 4:30 p.m. EST tomorrow.

This contest is now closed.

Awesome idea – gave me a change to check out your other offerings in Kindle format as well. Thanks for the entries!

  2. Ashley says

Just to clarify….If I purchased the book but did not do any of the other things (post to facebook etc) does that mean that I can still enter 5 times just for purchasing? Also, if I post to facebook as well, can I enter 5 more times for that or is it just 5 entries total? Thanks!

  3. Ashley says

I also wanted to say that I love that you post links to free Kindle books…I currently have 276 books in my Kindle for PC app on my computer, all but a few of which I got for free. Someday, I hope to start saving up for a tablet so I can access all my e-books more easily. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

I’ve read 2 chapters already and am so excited about the content! I’ve skimmed the rest and can’t wait to read more. I’m thrilled to be doing a no credit Christmas! God has proven Himself faithful time and again when we choose to honor Him in how we behave with what He has given us!
Thank you for all you do, Crystal! Without going into detail, this month is the first month in almost 12 years of marriage that we have written out a budget and stuck to it! I am amazed at how great it feels! We actually have money left over at the end of the pay period! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I pinned and tweeted and entered it into the link above, I wish you luck on your book. What a great way to get the word out! I would want the amazon card, I have my heart set on a Kindle Fire, large screen, lol Thank you!

I downloaded the kindle to my PC & was able to purchase. WHOO HOO I also shared on facebook. I entered twice not sure if I did it right or not but Oh how fun if I would win. thanks Crystal

LOL..Not sure if I did those entries right.. Already skimming through the pages and finding great tips and ideas! Crossing my fingers for the Kindle though, have to admit, it’ll be one less gift Santa has to get this year ;)

      • cher says

Same here Tanya. I like that I can read the posts on FB but don’t do it myself or tweet or understand how to pin. I guess I lack some motivation in learning to do it myself :)

I get confused with the time difference (on the west coast) so I think anything entered now would be on tomorrow’s entry? I got 4/5 done before I had to run to Pilates tonight, but wanted to say how timely this is since we were discussing how sad there are Thanksgiving Day sales even before Black Friday (Gray Thursday perhaps?-ugh) Also hope I posted correctly. I’ve never pinned before but looks ok and I just went back and added a link to the giveaway since I wasn’t sure how to do it originally (trying!) Thanks I don’t have a Kindle yet, so hoping.

  8. Michelle Hall says

Not sure I did it right either. I liked it on FB but how do I share it? If I go to my FB page I can see that it has posted that I liked it, but there is no share button so how could I post the URL to me liking the page?

I am not sure what is happening when I try to pin this. I am new to pinning and maybe don’t know what I am doing. I did get one of your books pinned when I started. I repined but get a 502 error. I see an icon but clicking on it gets me a different page on your pinterest. I sure would love to win the kindle or the gift card appreciate the chance if I have done this correctly. I don’t get tweeting and don’t trust my posts to Facebook.

It’s likely a Pinterest issue. That happens with Pinterest sometimes. Just fill out the form and I’ll count you for yours efforts. :)

  10. Christy McKinney says

I purchased the e-book but I can’t Facebook or Pinterest it here at work – so I will tonight!

  11. Shannon says

I just purchased this for my sister for a gift and cannot wait to see how she loves it! Thank you Crystal!

  12. Martha W says

I was able to easily download from Amazon to my iphone Kindle app and am enjoying your book. I think I did everything to enter your giveaway with your simple instructions. Thanks.

  13. Mari says

Crystal I sat down last night and read the whole book. It was great! I felt freed from trying to live up to others. Maybe it was just hearing someone say you don’t have to be perfect, it is okay to limit gifts and give in other ways and enjoy the season. I sat down after reading the book and created my Christmas Planner. (Before I knew it, it was after 1am.) Yet, when I went to bed I felt free and at peace and slept like a baby. I wasn’t worried about getting it all done cause I have a plan that will fit with my schedule now. I organized my priorities and decided what I truly enjoyed and what just doesn’t fit and said we will not be doing that this year.
Thanks for the easy read and inspiring me to tone it down and enjoy the season and not obsess. Mari

I am so, so happy that you found the ebook to be freeing for you. That’s really my heart’s desire for everyone who reads it! And now, make sure you get to bed early tonight. ;)

I totally understand the change for all the views, etc. that it drives, but I must say…. I miss your SIMPLE entry process!

  15. Annie Manzi says

For some reason FB did not record my “Like” for the e-reader above, which I would like to have.

  16. says

Oh my gosh… I have Kindle on my PC, but a real Kindle! What a great Christmas gift that is! I’ve ordered your new book and can’t wait to open it!

  17. Christy C. says

Will you have a link for those who bought the book to have the printable planners in one spot? I am clicking on them in my Kindle but don’t have a way to print from it. Or if you have another suggestion for me on this, I’d appreciate it! I’m enjoying the book!

  18. Jennifer says
