I hear you on the exercise slacking. That what I have been doing I really need to get back into the habit of doing some exercise each day.

I get your email every day and love it. I was scanning over it this morning and seen you were rereading “7”. I have just started a Bible Study with sevearl other ladies on that book and we are doing the chapters one week at a time and applying it that way instead of one month at a time. I am anxious to see what experiment you are doing with it. I would be interested in hearing how you applied it to your life and share it with the group. I am going to mention it this week about you noting in in your posting.

I know you are always looking for great reads. I just finished, The Missional Mom by Helen Lee, and loved it!

Thanks so much for the recommendation!

Congrats on accomplishing so much last week! Hope this week is a nice catch-up week for you!

My goals pretty much stay the same from week to week. While it may be a bit boring, I remind myself that some of these goals take a long time to accomplish. For example, the Read the Bible Chronologically in a Year will be on the Goal List for a year. The 26 Weight Watchers points per day goal will be on there probably for the next 6 months or until I reach my goal weight. Some things just take time and perseverance.

I updated my goals for the year – what I still want to accomplish before 2013!

I loved the 7 book also. Simplicity, aaah
Everything we possess that is not necessary for life or happiness becomes a burden, and scarcely a day passes that we do not add to it. ~Robert Brault

I have injured the muscle at the back of my knee. 🙁 Which means I cannot run for now but I tried biking with the hubby yesterday and it did not seem to irritate the injury at all so for me I will be spending the next few weeks biking. Hoping it heals before my next full marathon with a friend end of October. I would hate to let my friend down it is her first.

Sorry to hear your trip was cancelled! Hope and pray everything is ok.
Congratulations on your new book! Can’t wait to hear about it!
I was able to get quite a bit done last week, although not quite as much as I hoped/planned.
This week’s plan
1. Clean upstairs front side of house blinds and windows
2. Do the Yucky Stuff – Clean under oven and under fridge
3. Turn mattresses
4. Make items to freeze for lunches/breakfasts
5. Work on transcript
6. Read “Daughters by Design”, “Money Secrets of the Amish: Finding True Abundance in Simplicity, Sharing, and Saving
7. Start planning CHRISTmas/Fall craft show with church ladies – had a friend ask me about doing this with her just yesterday. I’m excited about it as we have many talented ladies in our church.
8. Write and mail 2 encouraging notes
9. Walk at least twice with hubby – This was our date. We ended up walking/running tonight. Date and exercise in one. Woohoo!
10. Make 2 week menu and grocery list

One of my goals this month was to drink more water and I have really done well with this goal! I think it’s the one goal that I really made headway with. The others, not so much 😉

I’m super excited to hear about your new book! Another one to add to the book list! I can’t wait. 🙂
We’ve got a bad cold in our house so I’m going to aim to keep things slow around here. Lets hope! 🙂
My biggest family goal this week is to plan a special meal for my husband (we will celebrate being together for 10 years this week). And start a new toddler activity schedule for the mornings.
I found this neat little blog called Stay at Home Educator and she has lesson plans for a pre-school co-ops. I’ve found it helpful for having a theme, books to read and activities to do with my 22 month toddler. Some things are a little old for him but I just pair it down to age. 🙂
I hope your week goes well Crystal!

Hmmmm. I like your exercise goal and have been thinking it’s time to do something like that for myself (specifying days/times) because as I’ve gotten busy this fall I’ve fallen off the wagon!
Curious to hear your thoughts on 7 (which I loved!) and Now, Discover Your Strengths (which I was so-so on). Also excited to hear more about your next book when the time comes 🙂
