I didn’t even know how Wilma Rudolph was until we moved to Clarksville TN and I wondered why there was a road there named Wilma Rudolph. She has a really inspirational story, there is an espn clip about her I believe as well from years ago. There is also a small exhibit at a museum in Clarksville on her being in the Olympics.

We have literally been doing the homemade obstacle course for almost 5 days straight! It is a nice indoor activity that burns LOTS of energy!! Plus you can use stuff that’s around your house and keep changing it up!

It’s hot outside here so meeting my exercise goals might be tough! I’m hoping that I can keep up with my bible study though and get a few pages of my sweet family scrap booked!

I just got back from a trip to see my grandmother. This is usually the worst time of year for me to travel, because it is our busiest time of year. I was thrilled to get so many of my “goals” done before I left.
This week:
1. Unpack and get things back into order.
2. Finish Quarterly Sales Taxes
3. Figure out my new phone (no one could hear me talk on my old one).
4. Type the ideas that are swirling in my head after 54 hours in the car this week!
5. Tweak “Riding the Train: That’s How I Roll”

I’m busy getting ready for VBS in 3 weeks! I also spent most of today picking and shelling peas…we have TONS!! I’ve set goals, but we’ll see what the rest of the week holds!
The Prudent Homemaker says
I had goals to accomplish sewing, organizing, and weeding.
Instead, I discovered that my peaches and grapes were ripe, and I spent the week canning peaches and grape juice, as well as making pectin from apples, and applesauce.
I’m still canning this week, but as soon as I’m done, I will be working on last week’s goals. It all depends on how long the canning takes!

My baby is due in less than 2 weeks so this week is possibly my last full week to get ready! 🙂 My goals are to walk/work out for an hour every day, organize the baby’s things, pack my hospital bag, get some freezer cooking done so that we have easy go-to meals once baby gets here. It’s going to be a great week!

Finally got mine done again! I know it makes a difference when I have a list to work on!

In addition to working full time my goals for the week are to post my pumpkin walnut muffin recipe, work in the garden and post an update next weekend, eye Dr appointments for me and the kiddo, stick to our menu, work on my home management binder, make watermellon lemonade again and post the recipe next weekend. Oh and if I can squeeze it in finish reading Boundaries with Kids.

The last few weeks, I’ve had a hard time coming up with goals. But, as the summer begins to wind down and we get back on track with homeschooling, my goals seem to double! I look back over my goals quarterly to see where my focus is and right now, my primary goals are focused on the family…which is a good thing! A few months ago, my primary focus was through volunteering. I guess it is easy to get a little off track sometimes! Enjoy the week, ladies!

I did much better this week with goals and decide to focus on 5 categories from now on. I think this will help me be more well rounded in my focus. Otherwise I might just aim for what is pleasant and there is no discipline it that!
Thanks for the inspirations Crystal.

I agree it was too hot to cook last week! This week is cooler but still hot. I tried making those chocolate protein bites you had on your menu a while back as a goal for last week. They are so good! and you don’t have to turn the oven on for those. I would love more of those no bake recipes this time of year. They are hard I have unbake cookies and granola bards and protein bites but that is it. What else can you make that is yummy without turning on the oven! That should be the next challenge.
Victoria@Snailpacetransformations says
by hard I mean hard to find! (forgot to write that in)

I did fairly well this week with my goals. I finally finished my son’s quilt that I started last year. Now it is done and he is really happy. I need to get my daughter started on her science as we homeschool over the summer and the last two weeks it has fallen by the wayside. I am also hoping this week to get a new facebook graphic up and to get my jam post done.
I am too working on getting more sleep each night. The last month I have not been good about going to bed on time and I just seem to drag all day if I don’t get enough sleep.
