I cannot believe this offer is still available this morning! I didn’t get a chance to post it last night (I’ll share more about my c-r-a-z-y evening last night later on today!), and when I finally got on to check this morning, it’s still available!

Green Mountain site on FB crashed

Martha Cummins January 11, 2012 at 9:55 am

I liked the page but now how to I request the cups?

Wendy January 11, 2012 at 11:56 am

I had to log on using Google Chrome, not explorer and the info came right up. I didn’t even have to like the page.

It didn’t work for me this morning…

Amy Reynolds January 11, 2012 at 10:04 am

Yeah!!!!! Had to refresh 3 times but it worked! Sent them to my sister. She just got a keurig for Christmas!!! Sent the link to my mom and my sister and they each got it too so she’ll end up with three boxes! Very cool!

Kept hitting reload until finally a box appeared that let me type in my name and address but I couldn’t see anything else. I moved the mouse around until it changed to a hand then I clicked on it and a facebook share box popped up. Not sure if that will work or not.

Thanks!! It took several times of trying to load the page but I finally was able to request the sample!

Just keep hitting refresh on their offer page…it will eventually load!

Monica January 11, 2012 at 10:55 am

Worked for me but just had to load really slow.

Sarah January 11, 2012 at 11:10 am

I just got mine! The page took FOREVER to load, but it eventually did. Yum!

alexandra January 11, 2012 at 11:26 am

Awesome, thanks! It was working fine for me.

Hannah January 11, 2012 at 11:49 am

Thanks for telling us to try again! I couldn’t get it yesterday, but got it today. I am a coffee lover and received a Keurig for my birthday four years ago before my husband and I had begun the path of financial responsibility and I have thought about selling it many times because the k-cups are so expensive. I am starting to see more coupons and freebies like this though, which is great :)

Cool deal, but wanted to give the heads up that this cocoa is made with Sucralose (Splenda), just for those who prefer not to have sugar substitutes. They don’t really advertise it.

Cindy January 11, 2012 at 12:34 pm

I sent the box to my sister. She got one before Christmas and will be very excited!! Thanks for the reminder. And, congratulations on your book!!!

I’d love to hear opinions on the economics of Keurigs. I have shied away from them thinking they were much more expensive than buying regular coffee at Aldi and sprucing it up with cinnamon before brewing. Thanks!

Keurig can never replace normal coffee for me–but I spend $0.25 on each stove-top espresso I make at home. (I buy nicer coffee and use a lot for a caffeine and flavor kick). With Kreuig it’s about $0.50 a k-kup.
The best thing about Kreuig is the effortless clean-up and fast, easy brewing.
Kreuig has lots of varieties but that’s nothing new to the world of coffee.
If you only make coffee for one, it may not be much more expensive, but I think most people pay the extra price for the convenience (or maybe the novelty?).
I use my Kohls cash to supply big boxes of k-cups at the office, where I love the Kreuig, but would never invite it to replace my Bialetti.

You can get a Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. That’s what my sister-in-law did. Then she just uses her regular coffee to brew one cup at a time.

Ginger January 11, 2012 at 2:39 pm

Also if you get a Keuring which includes a “K cup” (about $20 if not included), you can use your own favorite brew instead of the very expensive premade K cups. We don’t have one yet but are considering one. Our favorite coffee is $9 a can now. We drink a lot but waste plenty too. I like the idea of no waste. We used my mama’s at Christmas and really liked it.

Holly January 11, 2012 at 6:59 pm

Keurigs are awesome, but the cups are too expensive. We use reusable Ekobrew cups (on Amazon.com). The Keurig My-K cup didn’t work well.

lou anne January 11, 2012 at 2:03 pm

Just got this offer to work. Thanks!

Alicia January 11, 2012 at 5:44 pm

Thanks for the heads up! Just got in and signed up before they posted about running out of supplies. This will be a nice treat for the office.

Stephanie Vaughan January 12, 2012 at 6:13 am

They have given away all the samples. :(
