Here are some great Kikkoman deals at Walmart:

Buy 1 Kikkoman Lime Ponzu at $2
Use $3/1 Panko Bread Crumbs or Lime Ponzu
Free plus overage after coupon

Kikkoman Panko Crumbs at $1.33-$1.83
Use $3/1 Panko Bread Crumbs or Lime Ponzu
Free plus overage after coupon

Remember to have an extra item or two to absorb the overage. As the Walmart coupon policy states that they will apply the overage of a coupon towards your other groceries. You might print out the official coupon policy and take it with you just in case you have any issues.

Thanks to I Heart the Mart for the deals and photo!

when I saw this yesterday I was thinking the panko was 1.33 at my walmart because I’ve bought it before. It is so yummy and I’m so excited to make money too! :)

I’ve never used panko bread crumbs before. How are they best used? Thanks.

Two of the ways I use them the most are

1) as a bread crumb coating for pan-fried chicken tenders – dip the tenders in flour, then beaten egg, then panko, and fry in a bit of olive oil

2) take 1 cup of panko and saute with a bit of olive oil and seasoning of choice in pan until they become golden. Then take a handful and press onto a tilapia fillet (this will do a lb of tilapia total or about 4-5 fillets). Bake until tilapia is baked through (10 min.?) It’s a lighter way to do “fried fish” and super-crunchy.

I thought that Wal-marts new policy was to give the overage as cash OR towards your other groceries…I’ve never had a problem with them giving me change back for the overage…have they recently changed their policy AGAIN?! Help?! :) Thanks!

Yes, they will give cash back. It has been that way for about 9 months or so now.

I was able to get 2-$1 overages this morning; we usually use our homemade bread for free crumbs but if they are paying me to buy this–great!

Tonight we are trying Coconut Chicken which called for these bread crumbs: http://www.owlhaven.net/2011/12/04/recipe-coconut-chicken/

This worked out great for me. I “made” $2.84 and put it toward a bag of organic sugar. Be sure to look for these with the other bread crumbs (baking aisle); they were NOT in the Asian food aisle at my store.

The coupons is .75/1 not $3.00/1 where is that coupon?

These are in the cake mix/spices aisle at my Walmart in Simpsonville, SC. They were $1.86 each when I went today….applied my overage to fruit!
