Have an old t-shirt you no longer want but that still has some life left in it? Repurpose it into a knit bracelet.

These are so cute and easy that I’m thinking maybe even I could manage to make one!

My friend and I use to make these when we were kids with nylon loops. I still have one that she made me and I treasure it. She passes away 2 years ago and it’s one of the few things that was saved from my childhood.

I love this! Will be making some of these for myself and gifts. What a great idea.

I was thinking the same thing — even I could do this!

I used to finger knit all the time when I was young (and to the tutorial writer… I was in NJ so it wasn’t just CA :) ). Crystal, it really is very easy so you’ll be able to do it :) Another thing you can do is make a bunch of cords with yarn then sew them together to make them thicker to do a blanket or scarf.

Cool, just made these with my 6 year old son. He loves them!

I always knew I was craft-challenged, but I took a look anyway, since people said it was so easy. And, I didn’t get it! Good thing I have talents in other areas!

This makes me smile because I used to make baby blankets with my fingers, just long strips of all five fingers and then mom would help crochet each strip together to make beautifully woven gifts!

Cute, but it would be hard to get 58″ strips out of a t-shirt.

You cut off the bottom hem then start cutting spiraling up around the shirt until you get to the arms :)
