Tis true
I love this!!!! I love this!!! I love this!!!! I want to go back and rework my upcoming series “Making the most of your minutes” to include this!
Krisi
Borrowed this for my FB wall.
Seems like it doesn’t matter how blessed you are, if you start staring at what your neighbor has, you’ll undoubtedly be unhappy with what you’ve got.
Love it!
Needed this today!
Sooooo true….1 Corinthians even says “they that compare themselves among themselves are not wise”
Perfect!
Absolutley right on the mark! Thank you for the reminder!
I know that’s right!
So true!!
Oooooooooooooo….what an IMPORTANT reminder! THank you so much!!
Reminds me of what one of our favorite Bible scholars says:
“Comparison is the death knell of gratitude.” — Dr. Michael Easley
Oh So Very True.
We have been discussing this topic with our 7 yr old daughter. How funny. I never thought of it like that. This really helps!
except for comparison shopping, of course!
that made me laugh! thanks!
Great quote!
Thanks for the reminder! That definitely hit its mark:)
Oh this hits home – when I saw your picture of your kitchen counter tops and compared them to mine I felt so sad that I wasn’t as good of a homemaker – for about a minute anyway.
Then I got off my rear end and spent 2 minutes putting some stuff away and felt so encouraged by that post.
I love this message – thank you for all you do Crystal!!!!
Sometimes comparisons can be a good thing. I took my spoiled little granddaughter with me while I was volunteering at our county Christmas Store (where poor people can get gifts for their children priced according to their incomes. She was astounded that children might not get any presents without this. It made her think about how much she has. So now, every Christmas, one of her presents from me is picking a child from the Salvation Army Christmas tree for some other child.
I think the comparison made her see the light.
